It is interesting to watch how different your two athletes are using their legs. I don't know if I can describe what I mean but I try to. Jordan is using the food that has contact with the ground to push forward and generate speed, while your other athlete is pulling with the leg that doesn't have ground contact in order to move faster. The result in my opinion is, that Jordan gets into a way better position after the penultimate step. Because I think if you pull with your legs instead of pushing, you have the tendency to lean into the throw and loose your position.

That is a great observation! And if you knew the two athletes you would know Nevans biggest issue is leaning back and missing the point 😉 always a work in progress!

@@JackedJavelin I work on this by accentuating on leg in one round and the other leg in the next. For example I work the right leg and the left one is consciously passive. I have seen something similar in your video where you try to imitate Zelezny. Just that I for training reasons really just work one leg at a time actively. It's a pity for my throwing that I found this mistake in my throwing at the end of my active career. Cause the runup always was my problem. I was able to throw more than 70m (230 ft) from a standing position and was only able to make 83m (272 ft) from the full runup.
