At the end of each week, most of the time, my family and I leave the city and go to the children's grandparents, especially to see the sky full of stars in a town with much fewer lights. What you are doing there is wonderful, and the fact that Mr. Carpenter got a little burnt on his finger made me believe that he is human after all and not a god as I believed in what he builds. I hope you enjoyed your time with your son here in Texas. If I recall it was a decent weekend weather-wise. I am surprised to see so much snow in early April. Utterly delightful. What a lot of arm-straining work with those rafters Tanya! The perspective on the snow there in Alaska is really helpful and your walk around the cabins at roof height was so interesting - and as you say, difficult to get your mind around. What a lot of water to empty into the lake! Loved the biblical reference too and I trust and pray you will know God's blessing as you work hard and realise a future for that location. The retro-signage is a great thing to have around but I would use it on the workshop cabin so you don't get too many callers. Maybe use it as an inside light in the workshop, I think it may make a great diffuser up on a gable wall. Your video-editing is superb and it feels like we're with you each week: and even - or especially - in the laughs. I laughed out loud at that board being forced to go in the stove when clearly it wasn't going to go. You guys are just great company for each other and for us too on the other side of the videos. Thank you so much.
