When my husband and I used to argue a lot as teenagers, we would go to the bookstore to have important conversations. Not only did the environment keep us calm because we love being around books, but there was no option for things to get out of hand. We discovered that by accident, but it helped us so many times

Being mindful of your nonverbal communication when speaking with your partner is so important. I remember when my boyfriend was having a conversation with me, and I didn't like what he was saying. And without even realizing it, I had rolled my eyes. He immediately called me out on it and calmly told me it was a disrespectful thing to do. It took me off guard since I hadn't even realized I had done it. I apologized and made sure to be mindful of my non-verbal cues when speaking to him, especially if I don't agree or like what I'm hearing.

What about when a man points out everything you do wrong to him & tries to argue about everything? When you tell him he hurts your feelings he doesn’t care. I try to not be combative or counteract every point but it gets to a point where I feel like I’m getting beat up & have to offend myself

Girl,...I never needed much, if any make up ...thank God! Life has been astounding for me without it. 🤗👌🏽 bronzer and lip gloss here and there microbalding,,,but I've used bronzer since early 20's, microblading late 20's that's about it. I've done lashes natural looking but realized I didn't need them so I stopped getting them done. Girl natural looking Beauty does wonders. 🥰

What about the husband who is more sensitive (emotional/ feminine) and EVERYTHING offends them? Every time I’m being more gentle and aware of how I speak to him he even gets offended by that. I am VERY tired of it , he literally grew up as a “golden child” and nobody ever critiqued him , called him out and just saw him as this perfect child and adult. But the truth is he just did his dirty in secret so no one ever knew until we got married and now everything is being brought to light (by God). When I speak to him kindly he either says I’m talking to him like he’s dumb , a 5 year old or I’m not speaking the whole truth. But he can’t handle the truth or the “raw” version. Everything you’ve said in this video I have been practicing for four years but because he’s insecure and keep being wishy washy with The most High , he is easily offended. I feel like I’m married to a child and not a 30 year old man.

These videos should be titled healthy communication in a relationship. I find most relationships videos are adressing women on how and what to do to please a man when in fact men needs all the advice more than women . Women have been taught from a young age how to be a woman and a wife etc but these men lack these knowlege and skills hence women often file for divorce because their partner is failing in many ways.
