Every man needs a serene woman but lets remember that serenity comes from him providing emotional security. Some men gaslight and make you go crazy, they just can’t treat a woman right. So in the end he got to nurture me so that i can have the source to draw from in nurturing him back.

I've been watching you and listening to your podcast for maybe a few weeks now. Right away, within a couple days my husband was saying I was so positive and he was just treating me differently. One day he mentioned that I'm not just being nice some days where he may think it's not real, but it's consistent 24/7 so he knows it's real. That made me feel good. Tonight he was called in to work. Usually I hear, "it's fine, extra money"or"ill get more done there" tonight when he called on his break he was just saying how he felt bad he couldn't just be here with me, which we are really close and already hang out a lot(have 4 kids) but this is just different how he's cherishing me. Like he's feeling bad he left me here tonight and just wanted to be with me. It was so sweet. I won't forget these little things he's saying lately. One day he did say, "you get what you give" 😂 yeah haha he knew way before me. For me, understanding how a man is different and thinks, is what truly helped. I'm seeing no flaws in him and I'm not getting annoyed with any little thing anymore, accepting him for who he is. ❤

That is so wonderful. I bet it feels amazing!! I'm so happy for your love and the changes that have taken place in both of your hearts. May your marriage continue to grow and be renewed and restored by the grace of God. Thank you for sharing this!🤍✨✨✨
@Heyu7her3
@Heyu7her3 4 месяца назад
The things you were getting annoyed with weren't "little" tho. Your not supposed to minimize yourself & your needs.
@marissamarlett1346
@marissamarlett1346 4 месяца назад
@Heyu7her3 thank you, but I didn't minimize myself or my needs. Just realizing the difference between how we think has helped our communication and there is no arguing. I haven't changed myself intentionally; it was by realization. It just clicked it my brain. I hope that makes sense. If I were trying to pretend to be nice or accept him it would be minimizing myself and it wouldn't last or work. Learning all this from Dr. Daf (it's been 2 months now) my husband and I are just flowing and communicating and living. Our kids are fighting less. I'm still me myself and I, but I'm not getting upset with every little thing anymore now that I understand how a man thinks. And when I tell him that😂 he's like, "yeah I've been trying to tell you.. you get it now." I can understand my 3 boys better too now that I'm learning about male and female.

Pray for his deliverance and to remove the idol of sports in his life. That is NOT NORMAL!! A man should not be allowing a sports team affect how he treats his family, that is not loving your wife as Christ loves the church.

I would take this advice with a grain of salt. Us women are very susceptible to people-pleasing and while observing your man, being one step ahead of his needs, being happy, being peaceful is good advice, it’s only good if that’s how you genuinely feel. Please remember to be authentic. Your man needs your authenticity. Don’t just pretend to be happy for the sake of keeping the peace. If your heart is concerned or upset etc, and you’ve prayed about it, you reflected on it, bring that to your husband. Don’t hold in your negative emotions. It will backfire -with vengeance- in the future. Authenticity will only make your relationship stronger. Don’t underestimate the strength of a man. If he really wants you to be in your healthy feminine, you have to be it all, not just the light-hearted parts of it. And trust me, he wants it all because he wants to be your rock and your support. A healthy man wants what’s real because he wants an authentic relationship that has love in the center of it all. We’re meant to help each other grow, not to forever stoke each others egos. It’s a journey worth embarking on. That’s my advice being married 7 years so far

Thank You So Much !!!!!! This was the First Video that I watched of yours. I know that the LORD lead me to this video Because of the things that I was dealing with, with my husband. I wasn’t sure on how to deal with it. But after watching this I understood perfectly how to deal with it. I just want to say Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for your wisdom and showing us a Christ Like way to nurture our husband instead of talking to him like a mother Or instead of talking about him or disliking things that he do. Just Pray about it or take it to God❤️❤️❤️🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 I Truly learned a lot coming from this Video. I feel kinda bad because I’m 50 years old and just now learning the Correct way on femininity. I Never had a mother to teach me these things. I was always raised up hard and had to protect myself and I Never Ever felt Loved until I came to Christ. I never had no one to teach me. Growing up the people around me was crazy and Loud and etc. I feel it’s really sad I have to learn this from a younger woman But better late than never. So Thank you again because I was definitely asking The LORD about how to deal with my husband and I open up RU-vid and there you were🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

Michelle, I agree with you 💯 Like it would work with mentally healthy men. However, some men are impossible to deal with and so will not receive this type of nurturing.
@FatprincessNfatroles

Wow, I realize the wounded part in me that was created by my father turned around my energy of “let me help because I see you need it and I CAN help” into a “you’re a grown man why do you need me to do that for you, are you a child?” Because my father abused that once my mother passed, and it’s seeped into my marriage. When actually, if I help him out, I’d nag a lot less and he’d really appreciate it! Sometimes with all they have on their shoulders he needs a little help with putting the keys away or finding his wallet! It’s not that he’s demanding me to do it like his mother. I love this perspective and I needed to hear it from someone.

If you don't voluntarily submit and let your husband lead then circumstances may be ordered by God so that you will fulfill your role in the marriage as help meet. I was very independent, took charge, handled everything , worked etc but now I am partially disabled can no longer do the things I did and I allow my husband to take the lead and he helps me a lot. We are more balanced in our marriage and happier than ever.

These points feel like what a man should do not the other way round. I feels like teaching women to take initiative whilst a man just sits and receives. I stand to be corrected, but that is how I understood it. How do you incubate vision for a man that doesn't incubate yours? He could be a great manager but does not know how to start, lead or take initiative.
@yippehanako

Yeah, I really want to like this but I'm just hearing how he gets to have a vision and have help and support doing what he wants and you get....to be the little helper- the main character of his life and yours.

I was thinking the same thing as you! I see video after video that are targeting women by women and men RU-vidrs about the things a woman needs to do and its a never ending list, discouraging and exhausting. And I agree that it puts men in a position to be receivers when the woman was designed by God to be the receivers, to be loved ( the Bible says men ought to love your wife, I hear no one teaching about what that means or looks like) and it says he who finds a wife finds a good thing. Not the other way around. Those verses puts the correct emphasis on the perspective and cherishing that a man should have for his wife. Just last week I was listening to an unmarried male minister speaking at a church and was shocked & appalled when he said-"he was the prize" and he really does does believe that as I've heard him speak before along those lines in the past. Even worse, whenever he speaks he always rattles off this long list of qualities that he must have in a wife ( ironically the same specific ones she named in this video) but not once have I ever heard him name one thing he would do for his future wife to show love or appreciation for her. Not even on his radar that he should. Nor have I ever heard him mention while teaching publicly on relationships one thing he is working on or needs to change about himself to be a good husband. But constantly says what all women need to change. Its unbalanced rhetoric. I agree overall with what she said in this video but women are getting burned out and deciding to stay single because men are now being taught you dont have to pursue women or do anything to contribute to the success of the relationship. They are being told just show up, you dont have to work on you or change anything because she will be the helper and supposed to accept everything about you as is. Her role is to be happy you're there and that you chose her. In fact thats not biblical and doing men a great disservice and women are suffering because of it...

I have a wonderful marriage and I love my husband but I cater to him everything she is saying in this video but I don't get the same in return. He acts like he's the prize. I serve him like crazy but he doesn't serve me only with an attitude and having to ask and beg 😢 @@TheElephantInTheRoom12

I love this! Do you have any videos or could you upload one regarding handling a career/job and marriage? I’m currently stuck in corporate American and I’m not happy. Idk if I should pursue an education or a new career at this point. Thanks!

I am young(21F)but I do have advice! Pursue an education that leads DIRECTLY to a job that gets you out of corporate America! Something like medical billing and coding would be good, gives you a chance to be remote and create your own hours, you need a CPC certificate! If you feel like your work is affecting you and your relationship I think you should search for other options!

I think if you lessened the amount you included religion you would be able to reach more women. I’m not religious, I’m spiritual, so I’m able to bypass when you say “god” and still relate. When you keep going on and on about religious practices though I could see myself wanting to click away because I didn’t come here to be preached to. Great content though!

What I’d like to know is if a woman has to do this much work to have a harmonious relationship - is she being authentic? What happens when the femininity mask slips?

@@LeaverWild it won't be as mask if you are connected to God and led by His Spirit. Thats the only way to authentic femininity 🤍

I like the double barrel compliment. i'm cringing listening to some of this though. I don't like that you said there can only be one leader. we're both meant to be in our power and that means sometimes he leads and sometimes I do. I do like some of your points.

As she mentioned you should be careful who you allocate all this nurtuing energy to, dont become a doormat to any man, care should go both ways and each has their own responsabilities to fullfill as masculine and feminine

In regard to who is in charge in a relationship, two emotionally mature people will not need someone to be in charge, and how they make decisions is up to the couple themselves. The Bible actually doesn't address the power structure between a husband and a wife; that's a bit of the world infiltrating the interpretation. Christ says to love one another, and in Ephesians, Pauls give an example of how to live this out in a way that touches on the essences of femininity and masculinity. Under the umbrella of equality (5:21, submit to one another), the wife submits to her husband (receiving and supporting) and the husband's leadership/headship is to carry out acts of service (which good men love to do) just as Christ cares for his church. There's no authority, no who makes decisions, who is the boss, etc. Just Christ's command to love one another (Pauls couldn't create doctrine, only explain it). Of course, just as Christ noted himself, don't take this to legalistic extremes; there are very well times when the woman has to do the acts of service.

I love this video. Have to admit it was a little triggering. Because I don’t understand why women have to do so much. The things you named as don’t mother him are things mothers do. So I don’t get it.

Many in this sphere think "mothering" is masculine... how weird is it to put everything passive on the woman?
