I bought this original score album. Thanks to rerecord such a great art. it is said that John Barry was not vivid in that period.(Late 70). I felt so too, because his music was chanegd to be so classical compared with one in his first golden age (Mid 60 to early 70 : "Goldfinger" or "Midnight Cowboy" ). But when I hear this score in CD album, I was inspired. This is very fresh at least for me compared with his famous "Out of Africa" or "Dance with wolves". The score of "Betsy" is in early period of his rommantic composition and John Barry try to score some expermental materials.
