Sheldon is the only one not interested, and I love him for that. Lol "You're telling me that I'm within driving distance of a house filled with aspiring super models?" ___ "Wait, where are you going?" "To pay my cable bill." Wolowitz is the IRS, XXX rated version.
Hahaha No No No. The current Mrs. Wolowitz is no longer his mom. Remember she passed away. No No, the current Mrs. Wolowitz is a small blond headed lady named Bernadette. Hahaha
The part with Howard trying to pass off "kreplach" as Klingon is funny for 3 reasons: 1. It shows how skilled and fluent in Klingon they are and he is trying to circumvent that fact. 2. It makes fun of how Klingon sounds like other languages that use similar sounds. 3. It is a reference to his Jewish heritage.
Pablo Iván Núñez Velázquez Hobbies aren't meant for monetary gain, they're meant for personal enjoyment. A kind of self-gratification that you cannot find in making money. They have an intrinsic value to the hobbyist (called a nerd, in this case), rather than an extrinsic value (being used to get a job or earn money). To illustrate my point, imagine there's a man who loves fishing on the weekends. He particularly loves tarpon fishing, since they're a great "game fish." They're huge fish, and they put up a great fight when you try to catch them, but their meat is awful and full of bones. This means that they're never eaten and instead thrown back. They have no extrinsic value to the hobbyist fisherman, or indeed any fisherman, even the ones who are fishing to feed themselves. Would you tell this fisherman that his hobby is silly and that what he does in his spare time for his own personal enjoyment is worthless when he tries to go job hunting? I should hope you wouldn't. That'd make you a dick.
I presume they had each character read only 3 words on each turn for the sake of brevity? Isn't the rule that you read all words that haven't already been matched by other players?
you know what's weird? he later complains about sitting on the floor because all the seats are taken but here he's sitting on the floor even before she comes in
