This type of joke was used in dozens of movies, cartoons, anime over the past 50 years. How could you not understand it? I know it's been 8 years but this bugs me 😂
I always hated when Sheldon lost to Wil and never really got revenge. however considering Wil never wins at his own show on Table Top. He needed it. Wil's awesome.
I met Wil Wheaton at SD comic-con once in the middle of the exhibitor hall and asked for a picture he said no because he didn't want people to see and have everyone to stop him to get a picture. I was fine with it but afterwards I thought it would be funny if I said you're now my nemesis
Wil Wheaton will always be one of my favorite actors! Everytime he appears in the TBBT I feel that I must re-watch the first star trek next generation episode and stand by me. He is just so funny!
@Jack Gold what are you talking about? he appeared many times since then, in fact he was regular guest star and he&sheldon became friends later, this was just his first episode
I wish they had brought Will Weaton back for the series final and for Sheldon to have finally defeated him that would of been an epic final but they unfortunately didn't .
So Wheaton played Gordie in Stand By Me, and LeVar Burton played Geordi in Next Generation... with part-timer Wil Wheaton. My head is going to explode. Love TBBT. Geek heaven.
dude...that was a troll face big time... perfectly executed lol... i've run into that exact face and tone many times playing MTG at the local nerd shop
The awkward moment when you realise that there were no jokes in that clip, only canned laughter, and the only reason you thought it was funny was because hearing laughter instantly makes you laugh to not feel awkward, and that this show isn't worth the hype it has gathered. Well, someone had to say it.
Its kinda funny that at one point the writers assumed a crossover that people who were propping up TBBT had EVER seen Wrath of Kahn, let alone enough to ever appreciate this pay off.
