The Big City Greens Movie is Unexpected 

I'm suprised about how much I liked it. I knew I would like it but I already rewatched it once it ended. It's that good lolol. Also quite poetic that the pilot episode focused on launching a chicken to space and here cricket is sending him and his family to space.

I actually made a poll for peoples opinions on the movie somehow most people hated it

I thought it was hilarious. It was definitely a strong story, but I personally see Big City Greens as a series that specializes in comedy.

I am a massive big city greens fan and I came away from this movie preety disappointed like the reason I love this show is Becuse how on par it would be to some of my family’s exeperience moving from country to city and chip whisler should have been the most the show could have gone far and tbh I think this movie the animation was great the Writing ok but I wanted somthing more to do about the city on chip again I think the movie would have excelled if it was the green family vs chip one last time

Also Gwendolyn's motivation is so unbelievably petty and I ate it up😂😂😂. It's so true to her character

I litterally did the same! This movie was awsome way beyond what I could imagine....the scene in the dark empty vaccum of space made me tear like I didnt since Spinel's backstory was revealed in the SU movie

Also the movie shows that Bill has a tendency to shut down Cricket's ideas, which as crazy as they are, isn't the best thing for a kid.

@@matti.8465 Exactly! A parent must at least, TRY and be open-minded about their child's ideas/beliefs. But no, all Bill cares about is the worthless lifestyle of a farmer

Bill is just as stubborn and sometimes as selfish as cricket. Nancy summed it up perfectly. Both mean well for thr family they just go about it differently

@@medaman15able fucking yes! And people try to say “oh well bill should’ve listened to cricket” true he should’ve been more considerate of what the others wanted. But the thing is Bill is a very anxious person with a lot of stress, anxiety and insecurities. It makes sense for bill to want to play it safe since he’s right crickets ideas always get them into trouble. And In the end his point is proven by the way cricket acts while on the ship. I mean how can people say it’s bill’s fault when cricket literally froze someone’s entire body just so he can have what he wants. Bill can be selfish and inconsiderate but cricket took selfishness to a whole new level in this movie. He lied to his family, tricked them into going to space, almost got bill killed by getting sucked into space since he thought it was a simulation, freezing the captain which caused the situation with the robots and trash field and then in the end had to audacity to blame BILL FOR THIS! And the fact that people are actually agreeing with him! Because bill would prefer not getting into dangerous it’s his fault!

@@juanfabriziopadillayama8659 the pamphlet is a bunch of dangerous ideas that would definitely get them killed or injured. Bill should’ve been more considerate of what the family wanted. But he doesn’t have to consider cricket’s stupid pamphlet because it’s just too dangerous.

Gwendolyn is like a different type of antagonist in that she has nothing against the main characters, she just accidentally puts them in danger and doesn't care if they live or die

Disney wish was good

The show is still going and has some ongoing narrative. They probably wanted the movie to be stand-alone so anyone could watch it without needing to be caught up on the series.
