The Big One - Channel 4 sitcom from 1992. James is an Anglophile Bostonian romance writer who finds himself sharing the flat of Deddie, a heartbroken, cynical advertising writer in London, while he writes his latest book. The odd couple spar and clash but eventually find a connection they never expected.

Wow. It feels strange to see Sandi in an acting role. I've only seen her on QI and a couple of chat shows. It's nice to see some of her earlier work.

I always remembered watching this as a kid, I hope I'm not the only one who remembers te certain way they opened the fridge ''kick. punch. ''Bastard''.'' lol

I thought Sandi was some kind of historian or archeologist because I've only seen her on Time Team. Her personality reminds me of Sir Tony.

I've been trying to find The Big One for years!!! Sandi apparently wouldn't let it be released as dvd or repeated.

I properly love sandi. Gorgeous, funny, intelligent. Literally used to have dreams about her when I was a wee lass. Then realised in my teens, yep, I'm lesbian. Lol.
