The living room is beautiful. The trim really finishes it. The tree is so pretty. I've never seen the ornaments strung together and it looks great. Love the green grass up above. Great job.

Instead of using caulk on baseboards and other molding to seal gaps, use "light weight spackling". That way you can easily remove the moldings without damaging the drywall. Merry Christmas!

Love the idea of stringing the balls together for the tree. My cat was 6 weeks old last Xmas and climbed it but didn't do any damage. This year he stole half the decorations 😄 l might try stringing all the balls together.

Caulk is your best friend, Ive seen so many professionals who dont make perfect cuts in Crown Molding, even on RU-vid Ive only seen one guy who showed you how to do perfect cuts, but you needed a proper Miter Saw and a Protractor.

As you say caulking fixes everything, on trim I do the same thing,I will caulk everything,and then touch it up with paint!

Having not been feeling well for the last couple of weeks, I was so excited to see that my favorite Cajun family had posted a new video! Made my week complete! That turned out wonderfully. You didnt like the plastic wrap on the lampshade. Growing up mu mom bought a lampshade and the plastic stayed on it for over 35 years. I inherited said lampshade mostly because my siblings are to lazy to come take stuff. One day a horse fly got stuck between the plastic and shade. I knew it was a horse fly by its little tiny saddle. Anyhoo my cat went nuts trying to get at it and after more than 3 decades the plastic was no longer on the shade and it yelled FREEDOM. Lol. Now once again wonderful job

How I LOVE the living room!! The grass on the upper part of the wall is the most unexpected, perfect accent. The tree - what a great idea to make a garland of different balls in the red, white and black. From what I remember, you had a beautiful tree last year, but this year’s tree takes the prize!
