The Big Triple - Glen Helen, USA 

One time back in the day (the very late 70’s) when bikes and tracks were not what they are today, I cased it when I landed. We didnt have the clearance like today, nor the suspension, case/motor guards and safety seats. You can literally back then crack the frame in one hit. Not to mention your personal body effects. I still cant shake the thought 40 years later, it doesnt go away. Always great to see this stuff though!

Dude thank you! I own all of the Great Outdoors videos for 10 years through that era and they don't do anywhere near the justice of that jump! Kevin Windham was the first one to jump it and even he had to sum it up and watch others roll it a bunch of times! I'm not sure this is the exact year but it's the exact Hill, I believe it was 2008 that I'm thinking of and it was just so huge! Wyndham did it, then James Stewart and Grant Langston, then a couple others started doing it 👍 thanks for the video brohan😁!

It looked a lot bigger in person! I was there for most all of the GH Nationals. It was insane. There was a MASSIVE downhill step-down when you looped around and came back the other way. Insane.

The owner of the track and the Nationals coordinator have had bad blood for years until it boiled over and they called it quits. Not getting along, and lack of worthy funds for the event ended Glen Helen in the nationals unfortunately. Wish it was still around though, by far my favorite.

Laroccos Leap is bigger at RedBud. Plus it’s right after a corner and not a full throttle straight away.
