I will say Aside from the the droid unit that has the ping ability All of them are really good and useful and because of their relative cheapness its great evwn if you do end up losing some And you will definitely lose many b1s if you use them a lot primarily, as Coreyloses said "they are basically garbage but we are having to deal with a lot of garbage atm" Space wise while they are more expensive they are also really solid imo (even though i dont really use Munificents much juat because im not much of an artillery person) but they are a good one to mix with the standard stuff (2 Providences, 1 Venator, and several Acclamators will definitely give you a fighter superiorty chance numbers wise) IG is one who if you start off as him he takes a bit to get going but when he does, oh boy
Just as a reminder on how to Buy it off the Black Market (you probably figured it out eventually), You need to find specific planets which have the BLACK MARKET corruption option. Once corrupted, 1. it will spawn a Agent that gives you discounts on certain things (like a tank dealer or ship trader guy) and 2. You send certain Heros to the Black Market to buy the stuff (you got plenty of credits coming in, so shouldn't be a problem). The Real Trick is getting a Black market for both the Empire and Rebels. Cus each faction has particular tech upgrades.
Pretty sure what it means by permanent detection, is that when an enemy goes over it, it will detect them. Like in the movie when Ashoka ran over the sensors, they popped up
Actually I think it's you tag an enemy and then they are permanently tagged until they die Tbh I don't use them much because I don't find them useful compared to the other Droid units
The CLLs are basically IG 88s "artillery", but the Tank Destroyer role is more fitting i guess. After all its fitted with LASER CANNONS, not just blaster cannons. (you ARE gonna want those things, they REKT Vehicles and Turrets) The Hulk Droid is pretty cool, a Republic Era Security droid (you see them in Fall of the Republic as well). Their pretty good (i think, can't say iv used them myself), you got the Balster cannon for anti infantry work and the ion blasters for dealing with shields and MAYBE stun vehicles. 5 TRANDOSIAN COMPANYS FOR 4 COMPANIES OF GRZ-6Bs? Thats a pretty good trade hoenstly. Those are DA HEAVY BOIS, A flamethrower, a couple beam cannons and they PUNCH things. They are pretty Tanky too. Also..... THEY HAVE A RARE MAJAVE SNOWGLOBE. (Someone is a New Vegas Fan i see)
My one issue with them is honestly their speed Granted that might also be because once they get within their firing position most things are dead or weakened as i go for a Speeder Tank/AAT combo with an assortment of droids Tbh i would say all except the other level 1 IG Droids you get are useful Granted if you donr have suffice numbers of B1s uh, they arent the best (got attacked by 10 groups of anti infantry storm troopers in a Random Galatic Conquest and uh they ripped the droids apart who were defending Granted after that i took the Empire out of the game as they only had one planet)
Triremes though frail are the best counter to A-Wing spam alongside supporting rec destroyers and muni frigates. The Rapid fire of the triremes pin the A-wings while the flak debuffs them and helps aoe damage them down for faster kills. With a fleet like that if built right you can rely on the Rec and Muni arty cannons for major damage so you just need a strong frontline of armor to sustain long enough for the job to get done. Corelian battleships though not super tanky have some good range and can hold long enough. Trying to fight A-wing spam with droid or well any black sun fighters is a losing battle. You simply get outclassed and out gunned.
35:16 Wait how did the Rebel AI get access to Green Leader outside Battle of Endor? I have never been able to recruit him in my Rebel playthrough of 2.11
@captonx2 You did corrected it in the video, though stuff like that is to be read on how many units are to... let's say "Leave the war front" in the game.
