@@styxrakash4639u will, just takes MANY hours. I played Starcraft Broodwar (best RTS of all time) for 15+ years. The amount you can improve is infinite. AoE 4's skillgap is much lower than starcraft but its similar as far as getting to these strategic deeper levels of the game and the mental chess match you learn to play. Which is why i like starcraft so much, it allows for a deeper level of that than any RTS

@@thegorn He has, but I would imagine it just seems like a waste of his time. AOE4 and AOE3 are too gimmicky, and almost remind me of Warcraft 3 with special attacks and shipments among other utterly imbalanced nonsense.

That's anything but big brain. Such things are the differences between top16 and Top100. A top16 player builds the best landmark for the stretegy they're doing. Instead of taking a worse option and hope to god enemy won't scout a specific area of the map.

But since his army is based on gold, a weakness, he have to cope with it. He has to cover his main production. So it is a strategy. A defensive one that will allow him to prepare his offensive one.

Especially with something as exponential as trade, information is everything. It's not like he isn't benefitting from the other landmark as well, he's still getting 100% of the resources from that. Definitely a big brain mixup here, yes risky but he executed.
