Let's compare rather similar guns on russian and italian sides, and let's use a KV2 while you mention it (i can proudly say i got it and was money spent soooo good :) ) 107 mm zis6 kv2 have an HE of 17.2 kg with 2.15kg of tnt and 27 mm of penetration. this abomination have 13.7 kg HE shells with a puny 690grams of tnt capable of giving you an itch at most. 107 mm zis6 kv2 have an APHEBC shell of 16.6kg, with 480 g of tnt and 163mm of penetration. this abomination have 15 kg APHE (non capped, no normalization on a shell that will hit almost always inclined surfaces.) shell, with barely a fifth of TNT of the previous, 80 grams, and a penetration of 140mm if you kamikaze. And you are god on timing. And you are also invisible. With engines turned off. Stalin would send the designer of this plane to gulag 10/10. i can't even get around how painful it must have been for our hero to get those kills to make this video.

And yes napalm would be nice but gaijin don't want to make jets even more op(or i just think they don't want). Also not always devblog are 100% correct and after some time no one will fix it and in case of our attacker it is error with those torpedos as 102mm cannon might take all free mass or simply italians never equipped this version with torpedos. But Phantom does not have useable central pylon(except for gunpod) for balance and cause gaijin is too lazy to add that many ordnance options. I hope in the future both helis and jets will get pylon based ordnace selection.

@@GRaToMiC well, possibly because a lot of maps have no targets that would be destroyed by torpedoes. But if you rolled map with a lot of naval targets then torpedoes can be useful

Well against pillboxes is not realy better as much more fighters will get on your tail and also shooting anything will be a problem. But if italy will get ships in the future it might finally be usefull.

@@Michalinus. Suddenly you can spawn it in tank RB for FREE even at start of a match, i would laugh my ass off if i ever saw three or four Allied team players with a SPAA first spawn just from how many of these would flood early game

@@Yeeter_Inbound Do try. Don't expect getting lots of points in this. It doesn't take much to kill this plane, as it is slow and big. The gunners are really difficult to aim because they are so far apart. While not a great plane, it's really fun to play. I recommend taking R3 with it in lineup to clear the skies before flying.

Italian navy is quite good. The real problem was the fact that they used enigma machine for communicate and soo they got intercepted every time.

Panther 75mm is better then Tiger 88mm ( unless it's Tiger 2 )
