My LAST Amateur Event EVER! I played as an amateur in a professional golf tournament and this is what I learned. If you want to come watch me compete as a professional golfer for the first time, you can! I'll be making my professional debut in Anderson SC on May 1 at the Club at Brookstone in the South Carolina Shootout on the Rolling Red Tour. The entire year long journey has all led to this!

I had commented on an earlier video about my return to pro completion just now at the senior level. First event didn’t go well, all mental. I couldn’t shake nerves and just swing, kept holding back or trying to guide my shots. Gotta get to a point where you just let go and trust the swing that got you there.

Im sorry to hear it didn't go the way you'd hoped but even just to be out there and competing is a massive milestone, congratulations! I've found myself doing something similar in resent rounds. I'm trying to focus on my setup and just swing.

It went well, I had a lot of fun. 77 wasn't the score I was hoping for but I just wanted to focus on enjoying the only professional debut I'll ever get. I'll be posting a full review of the day soon, the post round interview is out now.
