I’m mostly a Disney parks fan, but have to sound like everyone else. They have nothing on what Universal Studios construction is going. D23 better not be a “What if?” Park’s announcements, if they do I’m done!

I totally agree with what you're saying, that Epic Universe and even some updates to the Hollywood Park are more exciting than what they have planned. I believe that they will (for this time, really) announce and commit to some park projects in this D23 Expo. Disneyland Paris insiders say that a new land for the second park will be announced soon, most likely in the expo, now they're just missing one or two things for the US and we have something to look forward to!

@@themainstreetnews true! They showed off the ride vehicle not too long ago but still you are right, I really wish they would have given us a date on when they would start construction at least. Because I worry they may not even build it or it’ll take 6 years 😂

I've been a bit skeptical of Fantasy Springs when it was first announced, but the more I learned about it and the more of it I saw from construction, I'm more convinced it will fit nicely in DisneySea. The character rocks look beautiful. The rides seem really promising. I also like how they managed to incorporate the S.E.A. into the story of the area. My only complaint about the area is that Fantasy Chateau part of the hotel. It looks awfully... plain compared to the rest of the area (or the entire Tokyo Resort for that matter). This and new Space Mountain still seem to be the largest projects Disney is currently doing nonetheless.

I agree with what you said. I was worried about how they would incorporate Fantasy Springs in Sea, but I guess I didn't because first of all it's a very separate part of the park but they were also able to fit in with the story. Regarding the hotel, the in-park side of the building is a lot more detailed than the other side, which is what matters the most imo, I don't think it'll be a huge building visible from the park too, but can't be for sure until it opens

I am a little bit concerned about Disneys future. Disney is now making a huge gamble on the frozen franchise. We get two frozen lands in paris and Tokyo. The optimist would say that a huge successful franchise like frozen deserves a land. But a pessimist would argue that Disney has run of franchises that they can milk dry... Disney has announced frozen 3 and 4 and they have to make these two movie succeed or the frozen lands will be not as successful. The splash mountain retheme is still controversial. If it helps the Disney parks? I am not sure. I think Disney is in a crisis. 2023 was a bad year for Disney movies. Also the Florida situation with desantis doesn't help. Disney needs to announce something big, something exciting. Not another retheme to a beloved attraction. I don't think that Disney should build a new gate. But something that defends Disneys status as the industry leader.

I’m gonna be honest, the haunted mansion growth feels like a classic Disney move and its sad to me to see they still can care about what they do but just dot

Honestly i think the solution is simple. You announce the construction of villains land in magic kingdom, you announce the rethemeing and expanding of Dino land into centaral America with 3-4 rides there. Epcot is simple, you build two or three of the countries that were announced but never built. Africa and Soviet Union at the top of the list, even tearing down the building in the back of Japan to build a Matterhorn style big ride that would make the countries more engaging for kids. I’m not sure wha they could do well in Hollywood studios.. then you hit the water parks and you hit them HARD. They haven’t had anything awesome or new in literal decades so fix that. Make the ride be actually a ride like splash mountain but with a water ride system or even something like sea worlds Atlantis thats a boat ride water rollercoaster, but each of these deserve 2-3 big new rides. I think it’ll cost a hell of a lot but i think that all of this would cover them for another decade or two, drive up interest, bring back in old fans who left, keep their hold on florida, and make it so everyone needs an extra day or two to do everything while greatly increasing compactly. Basically spend what youd spend building a fifth gate but put the new attendance in all of the parks.

I’m excited for the new Tokyo Disney sea expansion. In my honest opinion I don’t really like the park but this year my opinion might change. Hopefully I can go to Tokyo Disney one day and see the new expansion.

You don't like Tokyo Disney Sea?! That's a statement I don't hear a lot as it's regarded as peak Disney! Great to hear that the new additions will change that, which area are you most excited for?

I’m going to the new Tokyo Disney sea expansion like 1 month after release! Also what made you not like Disney sea? I have been there once and it was my second favorite Disney park because I just am attached to Epcot for some strange reason don’t ask why but my family enjoyed it and it was superior over the main Tokyo Disneyland park

@@Angie2343 No, the governor of Florida put forward a fascist law, and Disney, being a rational corporate citizen, expressed concern. That was enough to spark ludicrous culture wars from obvious bigots convincing dimwitted tools that Disney was somehow attacking the world.
