Great video Brad, definitely my favorite. I can appreciate and relate to where you were coming from in this video because I *just* sat in the biggest game I've ever played (5/10 uncapped) and found myself feeling exactly how you described you did in certain situations. I'm glad you hung on and were able to book a win for the first session at this level, it definitely helps with confidence. Really makes you think about every move when we sometimes take for granted or get too conformable at the stakes we normally play.

Thanks for making the videos. I live in NC where there is only one casino, bout 4 hours away, and no online poker. I had played for years online, before poker black friday, and although I'm just a rec player have won or cashed in most of the tournaments I enter. I must say though watching your videos and seeing the why of some or your play has made it so much easier to predict my opponents and be successful when I hit the casino to play. Super job my friend, keep up the good work!!! Hoping to make it out to Vegas again this year!!!

Enjoyed watching, I watch all Andrew's videos and it took me a while to kinda warm up to your videos but really have enjoyed watching. I am just a recreational player just a one/two player but really enjoy the game. Wonder if you ever plan to go to any of the Oklahoma tournaments? For instance the Run Good series in Joplin, Downstream Casino or maybe Durant OK. Tuesday I am heading to Biloxi Mississippi with the wife and maybe play a little poker at the Beau Rivage. Not only you realized that folding was pretty bad but also you folded because you didn't feel comfortable with how big you were playing and if it wasn't enough you actually stood up and left the table and posted this vlog on youtube. Glad I found this video, just a young kid 22 y/o from Hawaii but I love poker, my grandpa who passed away taught the whole family poker!! But I’m a millennial so I learn from RU-vid and know a few more moves then them haha!! but whether it’s drunk nights with the boys or a more serious cash game making endless amount of calculated decisions with your own money on the line the tension!! the anxiety!! of making a big all in play and winning big!!! Most I’ve ever won one night was in a 5/10 house cash game with family, friends of family and poker buddy’s , bought in $250 and won about $4,000 left about $300 to the house for the food and drinks and in Hawaii you always gotta take care da house haha ! Just like how he won 1003 and tipped the 3$ ! It’s the thought that counts lol but I can really appreciate the high level quality content of this video Brad Owen this is the perfect poker vlog!! Love how you post the stack sizes,bet sizes, the flop, turn etc and how you threw in the all in hand even tho you weren’t in it! I don’t find the TT fold that nitty. There’s a bazillion more 9s in a limp-call range, and Brad was up and didn’t want to give something away that late in a session he just rebounded $3k in. I’m doing the exact same and GTFO.

The first leap into a game a game much higher than my normal. Did not end as well. A few cooler type hands that were so unbelievable I left scratching my head. I played these hands over and over wandering oh I could of played the hand differently. Was stacked with first buy-in. I flopped top full house opponents flopped quads. Rather than talking a break. I rebuy. Early into the rebuy a similar hand nearly felted me again. Headed straight to blackjack dusted off few more stacks. Checked out next day even tho I still had 3 days paid for with my room. Caught next flight out. Got most my loses back casino Arizona. I enjoy your channel Brad. Wish u continued success on the grind. Been following since 18k subscribers🤙👍

Sure I acted scared and didn't play perfect, but I felt like I could hold my own (actually thought I was better than 2/3 of them). I think some of your play was a bit nitty, but it's always much easier to play with other people's money... Honestly, I thought this was inspiring so ty and good job

I hated this blog when I first started playing poker, but now I love this blog. My biggest fear is facing Brad in a game. In my limited experience with poker, the biggest challenge is determining at which level people are playing poker. In purely recreational games people just think about what they have. In better games, people start to think about what their opponents have, at Brads level hand histories become a component and the exploitation potential become uncomfortable. Thank you Brad for your honesty and the light you shine on the game.

You laid it out perfect:1) He had just bet into a raiser when he flopped big 2) Lot of bad turns and rivs.3) You are playing above your means. He would have bet 2K on turn and allin on river. Would be crushing to lose everything at the end. Good luck.
