Oh man, this was amazing to watch through! The whole table talk, the production & everything is top notch. And thanks for jumping in with the advise of not spoiling it. I really think it was more entertaining this way. My Veiled Fate copy just arrived last week, I have a newborn at home, so I was not expecting to play it for a while. However my wife surprised me with a "get away from home for an evening" card for father's day. So, I'm going to play games with friends tomorrow. This is going to be the main event. And I'm seriously considering inviting an additional person to get to 6. Even tough that ruins every other plan that I have :D
..."we should talk to the designer about that..." lol Seemed like a hack of fun. Will admit I had some trouble following it, but the sense of the gameplay was terrific. And what a great finale... well played. But the duck's 'aggravation' just made the whole video.
Awesome! Also curious since it's just coming out now as far as i know from kickstarter finally are you going to do a "Feed The Kraken" Let's Play at some point in the future, i'd love to see that, especially after BoardGameCo and you both spoke of it so highly back then
CAREFUL everyone the fake accounts are back. I just went through all the comments and reported all of them but please be advised and don't listen to them!
Why at 1:36:00 does Devon pick up what looks like double feather from the discard pile, add it to his hand and then add it to the god power 'vote' pile?
What a fun group to watch play VF. It looks like a great game and will lead to a lot of fun nights. I’m going to pick this up for sure. IV looks to be one of those companies I’m going to be getting all of their game from hahaha. Cheers!
I need to double check the wording of the rules. I am glad this play through was posted. I had read the rules to mean that each player at 6+ gets *two* demigod cards after reducing the demigod sets to 8. Needless to say, the game was fairly chaotic.
This was well worth watching, and was very entertaining. Didn't see the spoilers of who had what, so it made it much more fun. Definitely want to get this in the future.
At start I was quite lost with the gameplay, but around second age I get what's going on. However ending was epic, worth stying up late. Let's go hamster cult! Sqeak!
Wow, that was freaking amazing. The team dynamic really made things interesting... Definitely been considering buying VF, I love social deduction and these added layers are impressive. Dunno if I could get 6 to play though 🤔
So a little like Hidden Leaders? IE you want someone to win, but you yourself are not that person, not controlling that person. You are trying to influence a winner.
One the best play throughs I’ve ever seen! {Name of one of the players, don't want to spoil anything} that was brutal and awesome at the same time. Update - just bought the game, now I need to find 6 more people)
Could I buy the Kickstarter exclusives please? This game looks so good. I backed Mythic Mischief and was hoping for the Kickstarter Veiled Fate to be available with the metal upgrades but oh well. I’ll settle for the retail. Maybe exclusives will be available at some point down the road. Well done IV.
I don't usually watch game plays the whole way through but this was so entertaining. Such savagery at the end 😂 I feel for you Jesse! But expertly played Devon! Squeak 1 quack 0 😋
Honestly, it feels very hard for me to keep attention to most gameplay video... i didn't understand much of this game in the end... altho I definitely laugh from Jesse leaving the room and the disbelief zoom.
I really want to watch this, but 15 minutes in and the cross-talk is just too much for me. I love a good social deduction, hidden role reveal, but the sensory overload is getting in the way. Sorry guys.
