Every story has to start somewhere, but this one is more complicated than most. The complexities are because the histories of the triumvirate involved in the re-creation of Stinson L-5 N60190, Fred Wright, Sam Taber, EAA 96340, and Jim Busha, EAA 119684, intersect in so many different ways. Why I bought a Stinson L-5/G: because of guys like Jim Gray, Jim Busha, Sam Taber, and Fred Wright. And excellent writing about these marvelous airplanes by Budd Davisson. Thank you guys, for your inspiration.

My Mom, whose name is Rose, riveted the "stringers" on the side of the Stinson at their plant in Wayne MI during WW2. She had just graduated from Southwestern HS inJune of '42. She'll be 100 later this month.
