Bc it's not the enclaves choice he was working on the project even before your character is born he worked hard it was his dream the enclave wanted to take something that did not belong to them they put zero effort into it and only got involved after realizing it could actually work

If you ever noticed in fallout 3 project purity caused whole new problems as people were prepared to kill to obtain it and control it and others were prepared to kill to obtain as much of the free radiation free water as possible because they didn't want to share
You had me for a while, not gonna lie. But the swimming argument was the moment I knew something was up. Firstly, because it's exactly one of those bullshit points of "evidence" those theory videos have and secondly, because I know if you were to sincerly argue the point, you'd just go into the GECK to show it's planned, not random. just started playing fo3 i played fo4 and new vegas but one thing i realise is that the lone wanderer backstory never add up the part of your birth is a false introduction cause moriarty said thats its been almost 20yrs since your father left megaton and the lone wanderer is 19 years and i was like hmmm he was never born in the vault and your mother was not a vault dweller
Glad to see some new FO3 content. Now I can ask this question of you, the FO3 guru. Is there any significance to the dialogue between Victoria Watts and the player after the "Replicated Man" quest is complete. I'm away from my game right now, but she suggests going to Pinkerton to get facial reconstruction and makes a comment about how the player should be especially understanding of Harkness' struggle. I've had the dialogue twice recently and it made me stop both times and think about the implications of the player being a synth. Just curious if you've given this any thought.
The meta reason is that the game needs a way to let you know Pinkerton can do facial reconstruction if you completed the quest without asking him about the android. I suspect the in-game reason is that Victoria thinks you might want to change your appearance if you're worried about the institute seeking retribution for helping the synth and/or killing Zimmer. It seems unlikely that the Lone Wanderer is a synth, because we know you grew up in Vault 101 and "child" synths didn't exist back then (they're a new, experimental technology in the time of FO4). And since you can go straight to Rivet City and start The Replicated Man right after escaping from Vault 101, there aren't any obvious opportunities for them to replace you. I guess it's theoretically possible that they could do it immediately after you escape, when you're blinded and stunned by seeing the sun for the first time, but that's a long shot.
@@BelthansMods Fair enough. I was going deep in to it, wondering if the memories the player had were fake, but when you return those people remember you. Then I thought maybe the player was killed and those memories were put into a synth. Either way, I have way too much to do to be thinking this deep into the game. Thanks for the response.

I always liked the idea that Nadine has some sort of deeper connection to the lone wanderer because she and my dweller are a lot alike but I always thought mabey cousins but never siblings but it isn’t a bad theory a bit far fetched in some places but neat
Did you know that the character model for the vault dweller's mother is black. If you clip the camera while at the birth you can clearly see that Catherine is a black woman.
Yep. At 12:45 I briefly mention that if you use console commands to look at her, the appearance of Catherine in the birth scene is different from the appearance of Nadine's mom, but I didn't go into that specific detail.

Dude but if you think it that way its sounds like truth because she is the only one named with the name of the mother of the Wonderer? And also if Bethesda would do that everything will change. And the Wonderer will have a happy ending little quest as called (mother and son/daughter reunited After many years.) Then on fallout 4 the quest reappear when you talk with dogmeat and you say hey pal. (Opcional Quest: find doctor li and kill her or something else for lying to you.) Ready to go pal. 🤗🐕 Then when you find doctor li. A little quest update dialogue appear and she will say: Li: how? You???? How can you still alive and still the same? No matter i will put the courser chip. And you will say: why you lied to me? She will say: what do you mean? Answer: my mother was Catherine. And she was alive and I have a half sister. She will answer you: yes but we needed to lie to you because your father was thinking about making a experiment with you and your sister. Your answer: 1-bastard you make it me think I was without a mother and you just go without telling me. I will kill you. (Hostile battle start) 2- well is ok i know now that I have my mother alive. I could kill you because you been doing all that time evil things to me and my mother and sister. But I still have time to be there for them. and you will return to your mother every 1 week and she will give you 10 stimpaks and 10 radaway and 3 medex and 1 radx for the visit like in big town with one of the girls. 🌹💖🌹 So it's a good thing if it was true. 🌹💖🌹
I’m not sure if this was a whole joke or not but on the wiki Paige it says the mother is black but the point look out cathrine is Hispanic I’m not sure if this matters or not?
It's about three-quarters of a joke. You can see Mom if you toggle free camera mode in the birth scene, and she is indeed Black (and obviously looks nothing like Catherine). The other quarter... like I said in the video, it wouldn't be the first time they changed a character's appearance and voice actor between releases (Sheogorath, Doctor Li, etc. etc.)
