Why does it seem like some Ryu mains are low-key complaining about the buffs to this character. This video and some other videos featuring top Ryu players have been doing this. Like do you want Ryu, who has been historically low tier over the past few SF games, to be good or not?

@@manuelsputnik Right!! Like you'll never hear Ken/Akuma mains say, "Why did you give him that. He doesn't need xyz buffs. This move is broken." Only for Capcom to come in and nerf him to oblivion during the next patch. Anyways, It's far too early to say how strong Ryu will be this season. This is certainly a good start though.

It’s actually super sad and upsetting. We finally get some good stuff after like 8 years of him being trash, and now we have Ryu mains calling stuff broken while Luke, Ken, Chun, Blanka, etc, all have actually insane stuff. It would be nice if they just said “that’s really great, thanks capcom” and then shut it.

Also, is it not weird that ProblemX is actually the one defending ryu in this clip? Whereas EndingWalker, the supposed “ryu main” is the one that keeps saying “idk why they gave him this, this is broken”.

I'm surprised E.W. came off as a complainer over some Ryu buffs. When other characters like Deejay were running rampant last season with unbalanced shit all year.

For protocol: I played Ryu since SF6 came out ... not only now when Season 2 patch made him godlike.

Ryu deserves to be good, and it just makes sense with how he evolved as a character in SF6. I'm not even maining him but good for him, he now looks like a real menace

Ending Walker complaining about some buffs is ridiculous to me. Ryu hasn't been in the competitive focus for so long while other characters truly have unbalanced tools. Now that Ryu is finally great we complain?? What foolishness
