I did very little walking, ate the OMAD way and lost 18 kgs / 39 lbs. That said I was not sedentary, NEAT and weight training helped.

I don’t think this guy has ever really been fat and is obviously not over 40! Cutting out carbs saved me!

I eat a lot of carbs! I’m over 40. I’ve lost over 100 lbs. I’m the smallest I’ve been in over 30 years. I literally eat fruit all day everyday. What I do is , maintain a calorie deficit. And I weight train. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I also, do not exclude anything out of my diet.

Thane that means you are NOT carb sensitive. Every one can’t do that.

One of the best fat loss hacks of all time is daily walking. To make it even easier, you spread 10-20K steps over the whole day. I'll do three 30 min walks over the first 8hrs I'm awake. Then I'll do a 15 min walk every few hrs. This gets me around 20K steps every day and it never feels like a grind. Combining this "walking snacks" strategy with full body lifting 3x per week and a high protein diet has been really effective over the years for me.

High carb and low fat would work either. All of these diets getting you in a calorie deficit. And likely intermittent fasting was a key to be in a deficit. Not keto.

A bit too one size fits all, we all know what’s optimum, kinda lacking the big picture ….

Nope! On the contrary! Look for what works for you and your lifestyle, your preferences, do whatever it takes to make your routine sustainable.

I was thinking the exact same thing...he spoke about food and nutrition like it's so simple..the things we're having to deal with nowadays is far different to the simple unadulterated foods our grandparents had at our disposal
@airidasiliauskaite8334
@airidasiliauskaite8334 Месяц назад
Yes. All these things are ok. Not ideal, but ok. If you are not eating a balanced diet (vegies, protein, some carbs and healthy fats) in the beginning, all these things doesn't matter. If you tackled your training, recovery and you work out hard, you are an athlete, then these little things matter.
