I remember when my dad would take me hunting, I loved It. Now he's no longer with us but the memories and things I was taught still do. Great shots tim!
I sold a slockmaster blowgun for you yesterday. After a demonstration and a conversation about the joy of hunting and thrill of a challenge he was sold. Keep on doing what you do Mr. Tim!
Thanks for your explanation on the invasive species Tim! And great shots hitting those lil guys. I chuckled reading your little fact about blowguns being illegal in Canada. It's a shame city folks make laws which country folks have to follow up there.
I am 58 years old and have had a blow gun for over 20 years but I have to say I enjoy shooting my 650 shot lever action Red Ryder BB Gun the most. ( Old saying : it' hot out, I am just about out of water, but I still have plenty of BB's ) Slock on
awesome! i got my crops planted late once because i was busy with my .22 killing these nasty birds. my blind was a dairy barn shooting out the window! now i'm 50 plus years old and still love picken em off! love your vids!
Hey Tim love the comment on the blow gun and spears and your comment it’s so true. And we are starting to have our firearms infringed on too. So will have to fight to be able to enjoy our out doors right and to be able to enjoy the shooting sports. Thanks for the video and keep them cone.
I’ve been sending Starlings and Doves to the light ever since I first got your blowguns! Now, I’m grateful to have your viper-gun and love hunting these birds in my backyard! Thank you so very much! You guys should come chase some pronghorn with me out here in Wyoming!
@@johnfrench4137 most salt would do nothing at that range you would need heavy bits of rock salt and I don’t know if you know this or not but sometimes guns are noisy, you get 10 with one shot instead of 50 with 70 shots, they get flighty at the sound of a blow gun, with a shotgun I doubt they’ll come back that day
you know you watch too many Time Wells Bow Hunter videos when you watch other hunting videos, and when the animal gets nailed, you're going he just got slocked lol
wonderful thanks tim your a good shot - i did make one blowgun one time what i did was a inch of pvc pipe i used nails with sticky notes on back but they were easy at the target but i bought one from you im getting it from amazon friday comes in the mail but thanks your right on the money in these blowguns very cool to use for vermon
As a Canadian I agree that the laws against blowguns and spears is nuts. Spears ok maybe I can get that but a blowgun? What’s next slingshots and arrows. At least we can enjoy blowguning by watching you Tim. 👍🏻
The fact that you say maybe spears is why fascism thrives in Canadia. That mentality allows them to do whatever they want to you. You get the government you deserve.
Hell yeah love your blowgun Tim that is a must have I shall be ordering one as soon as I can thank you for sharing brother also love all your big game hunts keep the killer vids \ adventures coming
The only reason I would give you a thumbs down is that you didn't have time to get more of them. I have never been much of a hunter, although I did some when I was younger (71 now). I began following my dad around on some of his deer hunts. Great experiences there. I always did enjoy being in the out of doors carrying a rifle or a bow. Keep up the good work and videos, Tim. 2 Thumbs Up!
Awesome video for the off season hunter! Dirty diaper with a hand sized rock, was my first kill when that black cloud landed on the other side of the hedgerow :-o)
@@TimWellsBowHunter The truest stories, are the hardest to believe... that was my first kill. The dirty diaper was to say how young i was :o) Keep-em coming buddy! Your #1 fan
Yeah you can get a nice cheap Benjamin Marauder PCP, add a hugget moderator and a cheapo mil-dot scope (just in case you start fiddling with longer ranges) and it will be super effective at those ranges.
The steel they make the razor darts out of is pretty dam good. I found a dart from last spring at one of my secret little hard to get to spots and there wasn't a spec of rust
My son and I shoot as many of those nasty things as we can. Definitely think the blow gun would be the most fun. I'll have to give it a try. Keep on being yourself and putting out great content!
I grew up on a 600 acre cattle farm we didnt own it but spent 18 years of my life on it and the owner use to pay me and my brother 25 cents for every bird we shot with our bb guns and granted asylum with accidental broken windows
Had 3 of them land in my yard the other day, shot from maybe 15 yards just for luck. They were constantly moving, missed the one i was aiming for by about 5 inches, it froze for a couple seconds but flew away before i could reload. The other two flew away immediately. I never found the dart, it buried itself in the dirt, but at least i recovered a cap. Was my first time ever shooting at something alive, just got my blowgun a couple weeks before. Certainly gives you a rush, much fun.
Seeing the Magnum blow gun while on Amazon, had to have me one. And, it's spring in MT, and the nasty little Starlings (Adult males are cool looking) have shown up, and it has been stealth mode. Been getting em at about 2' from the end, I am darting em through a slightly cracked window, and over my dogs dish. At that distance, they ain't fast enough!
