I think the issue with most young men, and I used to be this way (I'm 29), is they see sex as an accomplishment. It's not. And our attention span or threshold for accomplishing things becomes weaker and weaker the more we instant gratify via fornication, masturbation, porn, etc. Life is, for the most part, measured in accomplishment. My hometown... Miami is very superficial (I know, shocking!) and dating is not easy. Girls are hyper focused on status and money. You have better odds with the lotto then finding a real, down to earth woman.

In regards to very first young lady, being totally honest, my body count at 21 was zero. Not until 23 did I have sex and that was with someone I'd been seeing for years and after my military stint. It wasn't until my 30s, when I'd finished school and established a career and had achieved about 80% of my life goals that I chose to allow myself to have some fun and go out with friends. Never got addicted to club life and all that it implies. I always knew I wanted what my parents had and still have and they didn't meet anywhere near a bar or club. They met through family connections, because that way people you trust have verified the other person a bit for you. My wife passed due to a genetic disease at quite a young age, but she gave me two boys and a girl and rest of my life has been all about making sure they grew respecting their mother's memory and wishes and that they're good productive adults, which they all are. Even from a young age. Have standards and a plan. Keep the standards and work the plan.

I’m glad I’m not the only person that thinks that dating in South Florida is impossible for an average man.

Men average 5 sexual partners throughout their lifetime from different estimations. In the 18 to 25 age range there's like 60% percent of men and 40% of women in most western countries. If you live in the country side you look at the men to women ratio and you'll have figures like 80% of men for 20% of women for the 18-25. To have sexual relationships most men in that age rage would have to date women in their 30s and trust me there's plenty of married women who invited me over to their place, openly flirting with me. When women of my generation aren't even around anymore, they're just gone to urban centers. Which makes men even question marriage. And it's not about looks or social status, I have friends who are models and they come from wealthy families, they live in the biggest city around my place and they still end up calling escorts. Getting laid is about being social before anything, not being afraid to talk to women, but even when you are it might get you laid more than the average, still doesn't mean that you find women that suit you when it comes to more serious relationships. You travel and go to like eastern Europe or other places, men considered average in their own countries will get like 20 women trying to marry them in about a decade. It's something about our societies, men aren't the problem and it's not even women's fault. And the flipside for women in cities where's there's less men in their age range is that they end up alone like men do for most of their life, while men choose how many sexual partners they want while never settling down. Women have an easy access to sex in general and they are in control, they decide who they get laid wth and when. Men don't. Don't have the time to go on.
