i was DEVASTATED when dr. quack left webkinz. rip to an absolute legend.

It’s weird that the Mazin Hamsters weren’t mentioned. The Mazin Hamsters had their own game within Webkinz world , but it closed in 2015. Basically, the Mazin Hamsters lost an important place or hometown.

All I knew about the lore of this fine civilization is that there's a shocking amount of rare metals and jewels in the mine just laying in the open as if the miners all disappeared, there's gotta be a story behind that...

I remember distinctly back in the day when they had the Parents Area FAQ, parents raised concern about Wacky being so violent, and the company literally really wrote out, “it’s ok-Wacky enjoys being whacked so no harm”. THEY REALLY WROTE HE ENJOYS BEING HIT.

Who else remembers the quest to find the last unknown food recipe? That one took weeks and months to find with thousands of different combo attempts. The forums went crazy when someone finally found it

As a 23 year old who somehow still has their account since 2008, it's actually interesting watching Webkinz slowly become a thing again. I also say till this very day, some of those arcade games are so goddamn difficult that I can't remember when I got a new high score....

I learned so much from webkinz, whether it be creating my first username, owning a garden, making online friends, gambling (wishing well), my first loss, taking care of my webkinz, bathing my pets, some more gambling (wheel of wow), fun games, and owning a home, and using the wasd keys instead of arrows. 2nd best game I ever played as a kid was on miniclip called raft wars, and nitrome games Thanks for the nostolgia choopo -🎩💐

I got 2 Webkinz when I was a Kindergartener. I played the online game very briefly, until my mom realized there was an online chatroom and forbade me from playing altogether. I didn't really mind, though. I just played with them like they were regular stuffed animals for the next several years. Watching this video made me sad that my mom made me kill 2 Webkinz and I was essentially playing with their corpses.

The thing I remember from Webkinz was the insatiable hunger for rare stuff to put in your house - like I spent legit months trying to get this bumper car you could drive around. I also remember that there was another game like Webkinz for a slightly older audience, called Millsberry I think.

Webkinz was so important to me as a child, I had like five of them and played it a lot. It was so fun, and each mini game was great. I would have sleepovers with my friend and we would play it together. It was like the only multiplayer online game I played as a young kid. No club penguin, no Wizard 101, no ruinscape. Just Webkinz

My siblings and I used to have a ton of webkins and played the game fairly often. Sadly, the account was deleted in the archived account deletion of 2019.

My 126 webkinz have become self sufficient to the point I only even have to check on em every once in a while. Like most of them are fully employed and they live in a mansion with a loaded bank account and enough birthday cake to feed a small country. I’d say they’re doing pretty good.

There used to be a really small official webkinz/ganz store near my cousins house (in the country idk why it was there but it was) and once me and my siblings went there cause my siblings had saved up money to buy webkinz, the guy working at the store was this sweet old man and he asked if I was getting anything, but I wasn't because I didn't have money saved up (I was too young to help shovel snow and do other chores for neighbors for money), so the guy played a really obvious "guess what hand it's in" game with a pack of the trading cards and gave me a pack of trading cards, for free. i will always cherish that memory. The store is no longer there.

man it feels like ass to actually know more than the video you watched. the zingoz have a z there were more w tales stories released in the newzpaper, but screenshots of most were lost. one of them gave amanda an origin (she moved from the city, hated it, tried to run away, met a friend and found the wish machine) though most other characters are originless the googles are actually a pre-existing ganz toy from the 80s-90s which they put into the game as a nod to their legacy. they're primarily associated with what ganz calls its "heritage collection" oh and also webkinz went free to play years ago, you don't have to buy a pet unless you want to send gifts n shit, and even then, they have deluxe that can basically just do that anyway, especially with the actual plush having their quantity limited also they had an faq on the site that pretty much said webkinz don't die and are basically kids ala nintendogs so i had no reason to assume as a kid that the killer rumor held weight

I collected them for 4H, and had over 20, but I got one as a gift from the rich side of the family and I loved it! It made me sad when the last time I loaded it, the flash-esque player wasn't able to really keep up, but I love that I'm able to still do in game. Love to see you covering this IP, very nostalgic. I credit my crystal obsession as an adult to Artie 😂

When I was a kiddo, I had like 12 Webkinz, and I prized them over my own life 😂 I also loved the minigames (especially anyrhing with Poncho). Plus when I was about 10 my best friend moved away, we stayed in contact by playing the Tournament Arena for hours. Those were the days ❤

This game was literally my childhood, I played it every day for like 7-8 years straight with my sisters. Looking back on it, the only reason it was fun is because we would compete to see who could get the best scores, the most Kinzcash, and who could collect the most cool stuff, but it was genuinely a good time Edit: I still have my collection of Webkinz lol

When i was in foster care i played Webkinz a lot my username was a bunch of random letters so i lost access to my account when i left foster care😂 Rosebud and bdude are long gone now but ill always remember the fun i had on this silly game during that time they were a yellow lab and a gecko

i had a webkinz account years ago and i had a ton off webkinz on it- its sad that they decided to delete there inactive accounts and now its gone but i understand they needed to free up the servers. the sadest part though that im upset about is that the two tree frog webkinz i had where stolen by some older kids who wanted them and lied to there mom about me giving them to them so she said "i couldnt take back a gift." so the digital webkinz of them where all i had left of them... guess if the kids a jerk there parents are jerks to oof. it been like 13 years sense that happened and im still mad.

Am I the only one that likes to think of Snootz (From Beanie Babies 2.0) as the Webkinz killer..? I think it would make a good plot. He goes insane after years of being forgotten and losing everyone and everything he loved in Beanieland. He then lashes out on the virtual pet game that is still up and running today, Webkinz.

There is also the struggle that the bars for the Webkins are super hard to refill, especially one you have more then 5 on an account for gaining money was slow and maintaining health cost, Im pretty sure even if I managed to log back into my account I'd not be able to get any of my Webkins to full recovery.

When you make a Webkinz account, you don't need to use an E-mail address. I probably didn't do that for my old account. A lot of accounts I made as a kid used nonsensical gibberish for their usernames and passwords, so I'd never be able to guess it. It probably got deleted for inactivity. R.I.P. 2:51 STORY TIME! so i was with my grandmother (Step dad's mom but calling her grandmother for sake of the story) at some....shop, i dont remember what, and they had this event going on where with a purchase, you got to spin this wheel i spun it and wow my chickadee bird webkinz, and i still have him (he's one of the few i still have) between me and my sister we had a lot, she had more, "Gave" some of the plushies to me, but our accounts were lost many....many years ago i will just always remember that and keep that bird safe, (I Say as he's falling apart)

Ah, one of the first games that started the "free to play" chaos. The worst one too because you HAD to buy the toy before you could even see what the game was like. At least these days they try to be subtle by letting you play free, but subconsciously makes you want to pay for gameplay to speed up or to get all the best items etc. Neopets was so good when I was a kid, I checked it out a few years ago and they just destroyed it. It looks awful, all the good games are just gone, I couldn't look it hurt what soul I had left.
