Marc Ford = Most underrated lead guitarist of all time. Rich Robinson = Most underrated rhythm guitarist that could play lead but has to keep the band together of all time.
Good god, man..The 92-95 Crowes were simply the GREATEST rock and roll band in the world..Untouchable. Incredible feel and authenticity. MARC FORD RULES.
One of the best bands in the history of rock n roll. Why they are not talked about in terms of Hall of Fame is a mystery to me. They are the most rock n roll band in all of rock n roll. At their peak, no one could touch the Crowes. No one
The Crowes at the height of their powers, great band, great live show. When they were on it was a spiritual experience. In the 90's I saw them more times than I can remember and they were always amazing. Don't make'em like this anymore sadly
Just about wore out their 1st 2 Lps in the day. My only regret, never seeing them live. They have such a rich down to earth groove, and those lyrics on Chris voice badass for sure!
First time I ever dropped acid was at a Crowes concert in '93. Never laughed so hard in my life. Great show, good friends. Would be the first of many, but this one was epic. Time goes by so fast. Have fun while your young!
Crowes at their best..saw them 6-7 times throughout the years..musical heaven..this tour was amazing..met them too..honoured to be a part of their history..Kings among men..love you guys!!!!
Absolutely brilliant. Steve Gorman is just superb on drums, I think his performance on the Led Zeppelin stuff (Live at the Greek with Jimmy Page) is just sooooo good especially on Nobody’s fault but mine. Back to this performance though, wow this is my favourite Black Crowes song and this is just a classic live version.. 10/10.
Look at the crowd. No-one is waving a mobile. No-one is sharing the moment to Instagram. Or live tweeting it. Or recording it for their friends. Or taking a selfie. Or posting it on facebook. They're all just there living it, loving it and being in that amazing moment. Would love to be back in 1993.
I also don`t understand why not everybody love these guys,Because i`m Breathing,Drinking and Eating The Black Crowes!!!!!!!(Like What is not to Love?)❤️❤️❤️❤️💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝 PS:I`m also a Diehard The Black Crowes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
“PS:I`m also a Diehard The Black Crowes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️“ Exactly how I feel….💯 😎 💯
Man 1993 ... Think about it ... These guys had two huge records under their belts and they were in their twenties. CR and RR were definitely ( had to look it up to spell it ) the guided force behind TBC they knew where how and when to take this band. Added the other excellent musicians and the perfect band was complete .
@@grifftrain Yes, I think all of us do, on some level. I saw my mother struggle, which made me work harder. She was an awesome woman. Sorry I'm just replying because I did not see your comment until today, 2 years after the initial reply. Thank you for your kind thoughts.
...I was at this gig and still remember it like it was yesterday, it was awesome! After a few songs the power fell out so it was completely dark on the field and the stage. So we started singing: "Always look on the bright side of life", it was so much fun. After about 10 minutes the power was working again and the Crowes started playing again. Still proud I saw the last gig at Paradiso juli 18 2011!...
I saw this tour and this is what I am thinking . The song set up here is completely different than when I saw them , or at least what I can remember of it. Anyways, The BCs never played it safe and always played it different each time. It's what kept them going all these years .The music. It came first, regardless of the differences and troubles. The music first. You can hear it right here. Fucking Raw, Honest and Alive . I've got to see them again. One , if not the most underrated rock band of all time.
i LOVE the crowes and have been lucky enough to have seen them in concert about 5 times....they absolutely throw down! they are consistently freaking fantastic. i love you chris!!!!!!!!!!!!
I remember staying up to watch this on TV during Pinkpop....I sooo wish I had been there...this was their best time...I saw them a few years ago in Philly...but nothing matched the intensity of the early years shows....
Yeah! Marc Ford and Johnny Colt! perfect cohorts for chris and rich. steve, marc and johnny bring the led zep feel matched with the robinsons' southern touch. Perfect combination!
I knew Steve Gorman back in college. He used to jam to a tape I made of my favorite tunes. I knew then he had great talent. Thanks Beav. Greats sounds you have made.
Like the band Cult, who are hard working bands with some of the best music surely belongs in the Rockin Roll Hall of Fame. This band is and will be and should be in the finest like good Irish Whisky, the never age but are always refined and smooth. RIP your the greatest....
D Ireland the Band was the opening act of Jerry Garcia final Dead show, not the Black Crowes. The Black Crowes did open for them on the 95 tour, but it wasn’t final show
Animeand Musiclover I used to believe that the Crowes had an identity crisis - that they couldn't decide if they were the Faces or if they were Humble Pie. Then I understood that they were a little bit of both. (And CR's maybe a little Otis Redding, too. 😊)
