kpop stans are so toxic it's unbelievable. i was never a huge fan of blackpink and honestly never cared until the jennie being lazy stuff was brought up. i didn't think of it much besides, "oh well she's lazy okay then." but i then realized something. no one's ever dared to wonder why. why she is that way, whether if she has some personal problems going on. no one ever thinks about wtf blackpink feel or are experiencing. honestly, such strong girls if they can survive this, i'd crack under this much pressure. kpop stans are too quick to cancel before educating, and it isn't right.

It was DDDD which started this hate train. Before that everyone loved Blackpink, and every single fandom was excited about that song. But as soon as it came out, it broke records left and right, becoming one of the biggest song in k-pop history. For no reason. And about 90 percent of the hate I've seen are from army's and onces. They really pressed for no reason.

BlackPink will stay successful 💗 I got into kpop properly in 2016 and they were the first group I was with since the beginning. Each member deserves to be loved equally and I hope they continue to grow stronger as a group.

It's so true. People will say "they're not the only group to get hate" like we know that but I've not seen any other groups get hate to this extent. I'm not a blink ( I do like Jisoo tho), I casually check in the fandom to see what's up. But even tho I'm not a fan, the amount of hate is quite excessive. With the whole fan war (blink vs army) thing, both sides justify their hate by saying the other fandom comes for their fave all the time. And that’s true, army’s constantly attack Blackpink and blinks constantly attack BTS. Not all blinks or all army’s of course, but there’s a lot of hate going back and forth between the fandoms. I feel like the reason there’s so much hate is because the fans are getting defensive. People are defensive against Blackpink cuz their successful despite lack of songs, restrictions from their company, etc. and blinks get defensive because people attack blinks and BP all the DAMN time. I don’t understand why people can’t see that the way to make people less defensive is NOT to attack them more. Like it’s SO simple. Edit: don’t even get me started on how people are somehow under the impression that only ONE group can be successful at a time!

2 things happened as I see it to explain the army hate part, with sguare up, they started pushing in to the west, and they believe that only they should be succesfull there.... they will yell pave the road to the skies but they will never let anyone try that road out to see if it holds, Bp had to make their own path, and they are not the first group to be hated on for trying, its intense because they did it... the second reason could be financial, CJ enm (owner of korean news networks like Mnet and others (including the MGMA cough cough)) had a gaming developer under them, they mad them private, CJ enm still held a large stock and picked the CEO, shortly after that gaming company (now a "private" company) bought 25 % of bighit, and this also coincides with the massive media attacks on YGE and SME, if you look at the revenues of the companies involved bighit did beat out JYPE (whom the last hate train was about in 2017/2016) but YGE and SME (SME by A LOT) are still bigger, so it would make sense to attack YGE and their artist (especially the most profitable ones), while laying the groundwork for the next hit on SME.... I do hope this is not true, but even by watching the media of Korea im getting convinced, its pretty intense the hate (or negative coverage) and ill intent, they are careful not to state anything as fact, but they do put out a metric ton of rumours, most are disproven quickly with bad sources or witnesses, but some cant be disproved (or proved) and those are the same stories that are usually spread as fact by the hateful ones. luckily most armys are a friendly bunch who just enjoy the music and the message of bts (and i do understand that), but they are a silent majority and that is kinda sad (makes me smile when they speak up, it happens from time to time) lastly most hate that is not from media is from twitter or youtube from people hiding behind screens, in real life the fandoms like eachother in my experience, i wish that would translate, I know I said Army, but in my opinion its fake army, because hating and bullying and spreading lies and imploring for violence, is so against the message of BTS the band they claim they like
