What a brilliant idea. This should be something every band considers moving forward. Something super in-depth, personal, informative, and first to hear new tunes? Count me in!
Adding you guys to my Business of Music curriculum at MediaTech Institute Dallas as an example of "How it is done". Excellent work and God bless you for what you are doing. Would love to interview you sometime so I may have a bit more background when I reference you in class.
This is a fantastic idea! Huge fan of the idea, and the band! Can’t wait to see this in practice. I would love to make a suggestion, if it’s okay. Maybe if you’re doing tabs, pop up a short video missing that specific track so we can play along. Maybe we can even share it to socials playing along, promoting the website and music, so on. Just an idea!
guys, just wow! i don't give out complements for no reason. that being said i love y'all as much as a straight man can! keep up the amazing work! everyone that had a hand in this is a true artist in every sense of the word
I'm thinking about become a member I really like this idea!! what I really like about you guys is the books you guys sell with lyrics explained! wonder why no other band does this!! ❤ DH
This reminds me how web sharing and band websites used to be. A connection between the person and the band not just through their work. Brings people's curiosity together to trade your life as musicians and experiences with people starting theirs. There's nothing wrong with this at all; this is what is needed so much right now from many artists in my opinion. Brilliant. I love you guys!
Really curious about the podcasts and new merch designs! The designs would also look good in silver jewelry (clocks & colors) if that's an option for you guys to make some 😊
Yeh, I'm not being accusatory and am not gonna cancel the guy over a great old video; and I understand ignorance... symbols fly around. I kinda doubt Patrick is some satanic op... athough... it would explain his otherworldly abilities... and devilish looks... I'll have to think about this some more. =w= But in seriousness, and JIC - freemasonry is bad stuff. A member tried to recruit me (in my own church of all places !) with some weird "we're an organization that makes way for Christianity around the world" but I have a family member in there, and between he and the powers that be, I have enough evidence otherwise. Stay sober, brothers. Anyway this website sounds rad, and I will probably join up when I can
Well thats a bummer to hear. Im also bummed that they turned TBR into a monthly payment grift when it was originally $30 for a Lifetime Membership. What's the definition of "Lifetime"? Is it morally ethically to have people pay for that and then cancel their membership if they dont start paying monthly? Use wayback machine to confirm what I've said.
Yes and they left the original members behind and didn't grandfather them in to the new tbr. I joined the club years ago. Paid the fee, got the shirt. I find it distasteful that they didn't honor that. All and all, I'm sure they had valid reasons though.
The OG members, who we love, have merchandise that will never be reprinted. Most people, we found, signed up to get the shirt, buttons, patches, signed photo, etc. and never once logged into the site. In order to create something modern and to be able to post content on it multiple times per week, it was going to cost more than the one time $30 bucks (also worth pointing out that just a t-shirt alone is $30 bucks these days). And we emailed EVERY SINGLE original member with a working email address on file, multiple times, when we relaunched in 2019. Long, personalized explanations, most of them written by Ryan C., to OG member questions. Almost all were understanding. A few weren't, and we grandfathered many of them with a few months free to check out the new situation to see if they felt it was worth the monthly fee. What else should we have done?
@@demonhuntermusic I'm not complaining at all. I think its awesome that it has been retooled and I hope the community supports you guys like I have for over a decade. I Look forward to everything that's coming from you guys!
If you have the cash. I hope bands do not do this as ppl such as myself on disability, can't afford regular merch much less pay for the privelege. Though it's not even that... It could be taken too far. To know anything but what gossip mags post you'd need to pay. That's ridiculous. I'd rather just be the nice, empathic person I am and befriend band members I admire as I have for years, and have that be the experience if I want something "more" or have this type of thing just available period. Perhaps instead offer more variations on releases. Several packages with different things. Maybe ask fans what types of merch theyd like to see (and in that vein, long as I'm here, I'd love to see more "girlie" fits to Ts for female fans). Or even simply more advertising for the merch site. A good friend of mine who manages an extreme metal label says it kind of "locks out fans that don't pander", like a special clique. And I'd not think bands would want to do that to them. I certainly understand bands do need the money, but I don't think this is the way to go about it. And tbh, especially a Christian band. In fact it could lead to fans feeling isolated.
