I agree. I think showing movies like this one to our children is EXACTLY what this country needs right now. THIS is what matters. It didn't MATTER to her that he was black boy from wrong side of the tracks and she was white lady from a classy family with a nice home. She showed a lost, lonely child compassion and he repaid her a thousand-fold for her kindness. She gave him a chance to live and he protected her family. THIS is what children should see. Not what the world is showing them now.

and as a former student, the help you give, is passed on to others when the time and need is seen and felt. All it took was for one teacher, to see it and do something with it and me. I tutored geology 101 and 102 for a full year to ones who didn't have any knowledge about mere rocks. Imagine the motivation while waiting on every one of them to finish and pass their final exams. If you sometimes feel you're not making a dent in things, think again. All of you have done that and much much more. From a former combat medic who went on to be a full on R.N. My bet and my money? Is on you and ones just like you. Never give an inch.

Nobody understands why I wanna adopt so badly there's a reason why and it's sad but one day I wish to open my arms and family and house to some children who need a place to call home to feel appreciated to always feel secure and loved and never ever abused
