Hi Gary and the family, Mike had been saying for ages that he wanted to meet up with you again after meeting in Milton Keynes! He has been looking out for you all. There were some of those little houses on our allottments and during busy times Great Grandad would stay there and the kids (Grandma)Would take his meals .Fabulous boating community gives me hope !

The lengthmans huts might be just a bit too small and cozy (particularly during foul weather or winter)... some of those old lock keepers cottages though...) The Chef might have had food poisoning???... That disappointment might have been a blessing in disguise! You may have "dodged a bullet" there! The birthday celebration "came off" despite the difficulties and that may have made it all that much better in the end. Rockin' a bit of a John Lennon look with the round shades! Now, a beard and a heavy looking plastic frame and dark lenses... and it would be ..."Cheap Sunglasses"!...oh yeah!...

Gary the boating community have always helped one another out. .. Over time I have noticed that you are interested in the history of the canals of the UK.. One book I can strongly recommend is... the dark side of the cut.. written by Susan. C. law. .it's a true and accurate account of people's lives on the canals..in this country.. I believe it's available on Amazon and other web sites..???? Perhaps you can borrow a copy . perhaps one of your subscribers has a copy in pdf form they could share with you... Unfortunately the copy that was given to me many years ago. Seems to have disappeared when I moved to my flat from my boat...?? Anyway .. What can I say about your video that has not been said many times before.. They have always been interesting and informative and always been very well narrated by yourselves.. Most of all they have been a great pleasure to watch... Anyway as always folks keep yourselves safe and well..🐐🐐🐐🐐.

For years I have tended to think that the stories about my ancestors were just tall tails.. And that my ancestors were honest law abiding people..???? As it turns out what I was told was facts.??? I have always wondered why so many narrow boaters never talk about Thier family's past. Lives..?? On the canals... There is a mention about a huge narrow boat explosion in London many years ago.??? I was told about this when I was a very young boy..??? By a family member..???
