just so you know According to the film's production notes, the bog was created from 30,000 gallons of water mixed with celabol, a thickening powder used in many wallpaper pastes. Brown and blue dyes were then added, along with tiny glass beads, to create a sludgy yet flexible swamp mass, with additional effects installed to create the bubbling emissions.

I could vaguely remember when I was little watching this that the bog was deadly as well. When they're crossing the dog guy's bridge Boggle warns them the bog is dangerous not just stinky.

They should. David Bowie is ageless. And with a world such as Labyrinth, there's endless possibilities. I mean, that's why the ending was left open--for possibilities. Plus, if people really, really, want to see Bowie and refuse to see a slightly older version of him, we have technology exactly for that. I mean, have you seen the new 'Furious' film where they used CGI for Paul Walker's face? You couldn't even tell. Our technology has improved exponentially over the last few decades. :)
