►About the Game -
The night is wrapping up at the Pomeroy Grasslands carnival. Workers are heading home and Trevor volunteers to lock the front gates after he’s done closing his booth. As he’s finishing work, one of the last employees gives him a book found outside the trailer to place in his lost and found. Shortly after Trevor is left alone, a man in a mask steps out of the dark and approaches the booth. The man’s strange movement stops abruptly as he hands Trevor a note that simply reads “let me in”. In the light of the booth, it becomes obvious that something unnatural is hiding behind the mask. The thing slides back into the darkness. Trevor is not alone.
Stay safe in the trailer by keeping out what is lurking in the dark. The book may be the only answer to survival.

Thank you so much for playing! It was a challenge to create something in two months that resembled something playable haha. The puzzle is meant to be able to be brute forced just in case you can't figure out the other hints within it. My goal was simply to make sure people made it through the game since it's so small. Thank you again!

SPOILER: The secret to the card puzzle - the symbol at the top left is the key to the current page. Rotate the card until the key symbol is on top (ie: 2nd page, sun symbol is the key.) Then line up the open dots on the card with the ones on the page that match. When you do, rotate the wheel until the line in that circle is pointing at the key symbol (ie: 2nd page, sun) and it will make a symbol appear. Do this for however many times you have dots on the middle top circle (ie: 2nd page, 5 answers on the page.) Repeat until all symbols appear and then you’ll have a new key for the next page. Repeat as above. Each time you solve a page, new page numbers will appear on that 9th page that you can then go to and scan with the card to find the symbol.

This dev really excels at splitting our attention with puzzles or simulator tasks while working within a horror environment. It's a fine balance to make the tasks interesting enough to hold our attention without making it too hard.

When a jumpscare is so effective that I flip an entire bowl of cereal into my lap, that's a 10/10 for me. I still feel so on edge, the atmosphere of this game is incredible. Thank you for another fantastic playthrough!

I literally shat myself when the guy just appeared out of nowhere and started stabbing you, jesus christ. The character animations are really impressive. So smooth, but the way they're all just sped up a bit is so unsettling.

What a smart game! I loved it. I adore the creepy carnival atmosphere with its garish colors and cool twinkling string lights. The funhouse. The clown, whose animation was great. Imo, the book was a brilliant choice as your vehicle to survival--having to have the light to read it (breakers), and then to focus on reading, follow the instructions, and solve the puzzle really amped-up the pressure and your anxiety. And speaking of anxiety, I don't think I've ever seen you so panicked in such a small space. 🤣🤣🤣 I was looking forward to The Mortuary Assistant already, but now I'm _really_ psyched!

Having the light on would make you less stealthy, hence the eye symbol there when the light is on.

I loved this! And can I say, the voice actor for Trevor has been dealt some shitty hands when it comes to other games not maximizing his potential. I recognize his voice immediately when I hear him, and I think he's a great voice actor! I loved everything about this game. Great playthrough, CJU.

A great video, as ususal! Regarding the puzzle,it's done like this (as it's only vaguely explained on the solved page): 1. He started with the symbol on the top left of the page - the star. He turned it, until the star was at the top. Now the dots at the bottom of the dial show the (inverted) pattern for the rings, you have to put the dials on on this page. The dots in the big ring inidicate, how many of those rings are there. 2. After putting the dial on one of the smaller rings, he turned the dial, until the small marker inside the ring points at the star-symbol. A marker appears inside the ring. 3. He repeated this for all the other rings on the page. Then a new symbol (the sun) appears above the big ring. This symbol is the one he had to use on the page. The same symbol now also appeared on a later page along with the page-numbers (so he knows which symbol to use on which page), as well as on the top left corner of the next puzzle page.

I don't think Edwin was trapped in the book. It seems the Blood Mage was possessing Edwin most of the game. The ending showed the Blood Mage able to exist on its own without the need for Edwin/a host

And that is why you don't tamper with such unknown objects. Moreso, if there's blood smears on the entries. XD I very much loved this game. The jumpscares was perfect and the puzzle-solving was a challenge, especially when having to deal with a menace that repeatedly intrudes your line of thought (without coming out as an annoyance). There's not a lot of horror games out there that effectively gets my heart jumping, and this one did its job right. Hell, even the character animation is on point. Kudos to the dev.

Haha! Nice game! I once joked that after FNAF's and other such games devs are going to bulid smaller and smaller spaces for the player. Make it even more challenging now - I propose to make a game where the protagonist is in cupboard. :D

Super scary game and so well made! Sounds, voice acting, animations, overall graphics... The is so much effort to see! I'm kinda reminded of Poppy Playtime, but that one has much bigger budget I'm sure. I'm so hyped now for Mortuary Assistant, and I already was after beta. I hope they will be able to keep the quality in their new games.

Short and sweet; the combination of clever puzzles with the horror gameplay is really good. You really need to concentrate to solve it, but that's when the scares and the breakers distract you.

This dev is working on the mortuary assistant? I AM SO STOKED FOR THAT GAME!!!! This game however, was super fun to watch you play! I'm not the strongest with puzzle games so I tend to shy away from them for the most part. But its always a joy to watch someone else do them. Chris you are surely becoming one of my top favorite gamers. And you have the voice of an angel lol. I feel like u could seriously be a really really good story teller or something like that haha. You don't even have to make an excuse for why you couldn't figure out the puzzle, Chris, because honestly, it's amazing you were able to at all. I certainly couldn't play this game - solving the puzzle is crucial to completing it, but while having to worry about that guy knifing you? Nope. No way I could focus. He was so creepy! A very well done game! Thanks for playing it!

The illustrations on the instruction page (pg 5) show where the symbol should be aligned when you dial it. If you look at the circles, you can see a small line with a symbol (like the Star on page 5). It's telling you the position you have to dial the symbol to. So the line in the circle tell you where to align your symbol and the dots at the top of the page are the amount of clues you're looking for.

Great playthrough, but you were indeed going through the book puzzles a little backwards. In the front, where it's first revealed that the Star gave way to the Sun on the next page, you should have stuck with your first instinct of having the Sun at the top of the key and looking for the ones that lined up by showing the two dots through the holes. What you were missing (and what the image showed on the Star guide page) is that you then needed to rotate the Sun to where the dash was pointing. So for the Sun page, you would have done this five times and that would have revealed the next symbol to use for scanning the pages. The clues were all on that first Star page, but with the stress of the monster showing up all the time, I can't blame you for missing it.

You not quite getting that the flashlight revealed you for a bit due to missing the eye symbol disappearing when you first toggled it and then just not experimenting to find out frustrated me a fair bit.
