►About the Game -
Zemblanity is first-person psychological horror adventure. You receive a letter from your old friend from childhood. A friend tells you that he has information about your father, who disappeared many years ago. He added that he could not discuss this information over the phone and therefore sent you his address and key together with the letter.
Explore mansion full of mysteries and uncover the truth hiding behind these cursed walls. Collect items, solve puzzles, read notes, watch tapes and CCTV cameras in this horror story adventure.

Hey! Thank you for playing my game! I am surprised that my game was played by someone with that much subscribers. Anyway, just to make it clear, yes, my game is using assets from the store and story has holes, but I created this game as a hobby in my free time and I really enjoyed creating it as I learned so much stuff. I had no testers, few glitches and bugs made it into the release, that's why I am watching gameplays to have them all fixed in upcoming updates. Edit: That VHS transforming into a key is not a glitch. The key is just under the VHS :D

Hey, and for it being a hobby, to create what is a technical success is a good thing! Learning your way through is important. I think once you've got a good grasp on a story concept and more practice, you could do some cool things!

Out of curiosity, did you record the graveyard VHS yourself? I actually really liked some of the ideas behind this. Seemed like there was genuinely a bigger universe to this, which always is a nice touch. Really cool security camera moment, really cool title too. Lots of positives to take away from this, keep up the good work!

The clue for the answer to the levers puzzle was the Blue Veil of Darkness recipe you'd just read, "add TWO cups of still moving flesh and stir. During stirring, add ONE cup of blended soul torn by the spell during the darkest night. Stir until you see FOUR legs appearing in the foam on top of the cauldron, then let it sit until legs disappear. All of this is needed for the creation of THREE blue veils of darkness" 😁

Actually Chis this is not the "Horror Engine" asset. This asset that you have been seeing in a couple of past horror games is called "Horror FPS KIT", while both have their similarities, both are made by two different creators and both are made for a certain engine. "Horror Engine" is Unreal 4, while "Horror FPS KIT" is Unity.

This was absolutely terrifying. I don't think I'll sleep for weeks......a library, in the basement, of an old house in disrepair. Books stacked on the stone floor! It looks like there's even mold on parts of the stone walls. BOOKS IN A HEDGE MAZE?! Dear god, they ARE evil. (Okay, cheekiness aside this wasn't bad. Promising even. It had it's charm, kind of felt Lovecraftian in a way. I hope the dev keeps at it.)

In the beginning with that VHS tape turning into a key CJU, obviously a glitch but it hasn't happened to everyone. There are other RU-vidrs who played this game and that didn't happen to them. Check it out if you're curious but I'll let you know you didn't miss much.

"Padlcok" was the best xD Also the boards not blocking the door as they opened another way... Gotta love how little attention people pay to games they rush out. No spelling checks, no bug checks, questionable logic with a bit of asset fliping (I could swear I saw that rabbit in 10 other games), cliches and cheap jumpscares...

asset flipping.. it sounds like making a game is basically an easy put it together kit with a bunch of customizable pieces. on that note someone should make a horror game that demonstrates all the cliche antics in these quickly put together games and have 'filthy frank' gifs on top of it. "THIS. THIS HAS GOT TO STOP!"

I'm disturbed by how in the psychiatric hospital all of the AC units are mounted the wrong way around. Those were all the units you'd normally mount on the outside wall that were mounted indoors. Maybe it's a hint that none of its is reality? :)

Not a bad effort for a first game. Good concept. My biggest criticism is that some parts were a bit goofy, and the jump scares may have been a bit overdone to the point they lost effectiveness. But this is a promising effort. Hope to see more from the developer in future.

Since I always look up what the game makers do after the video, this dev has his second game coming out Tuesday the 15th so it would be cool if CJU checked it out. Looks like a more Lovecraftian Egyptian thing.

prediction: you will find info on your dad and from this day on, you'll have a bone to pick with greg for giving you a shiner. prediction failed. and ...catapulting character models?? honestly I'd swap out every scare animation in this game (i.e. teleporting in your face, catapulted) and replace it with a slow hook to the face. Everyone take after Greg's example!

this isn't a horror engine game this was made with Horror FPS KIT on unity store. horror engine is an unreal engine project
