I discovered your excellent channel as I am in hospital undergoing cancer treatment. I want you to know it has been a great comfort to me. Then I discovered your latest video is about my beloved Djhuety. So many only cover Ptolemaic and Hermetic history. I was happy to watch you explain the long history of this great god of Egypt. If you are looking for subject matter, I am seeking more information on the Opening of the Mouth Ceremony. Not only as it pertains to mummies, but details on how it was performed on statues and even temples. Keep making these well written and researched videos.

Maat seems to be connected with the Atma of Hindu texts which is equal to the Neshama of the Old Testament. The heart of the dead persons is weighed against the feather of Maat to decide the further fate of the dead one. In Hindu texts Atma is as the silent witness (compare the root shama of the Hebrew Neshama which means hearing!) the storage of the karma (the law of cause and effect in lifes) which rules the incarnations of the spirit. Also Neshama is called Neshama Chajjim = Odem of lifes (plural of life) in the Old Testament. In my opinion this are obviously only different descriptions of the same concept.

Sah or Sahu (meaning shepherd [of the zodiac]) is the constellation Orion connected to Osiris (visible from Plutarch About Isis and Osiris). In the Rigveda Orion is the constellation of Vishnu who is also called Purusha the cosmic man in whom the universe is located.
