The Bookcase is a friendly independent bookshop situated in the village of Lowdham, approximately 8 miles north of Nottingham, and is well known for its programme of author events. The arrival of Covid-19 in the spring of 2020 meant that live events had to be cancelled, and so we have been looking at other ways of keeping in touch with our lovely customers. We decided to produce a series of online interviews and talks, filmed at The Bookcase, featuring local authors.
This, the first in the series, features Catharine Arnold who talks about her book “Pandemic 1918” - the most topical of reads at the moment!
