"The Boom" sheds light on Dylan, a bass enthusiast, who during a difficult time in life, was faced with the challenge of bringing his bass back to life
This got to be the most over worked amp switch video EVER! 😂 But I have been there, you should just do a little change that you expect to take an half hour and three days later it's still not done..
The Punch Power amp is worth fixing. Those are a BIG pain to work on, so I'd send it to RF for repair. SKAR RP series amps aren't bad, I've got a couple of 'em in my car now. We all have some bumps in the road learning this stuff. Stick with it and build your skills and knowledge. I taught myself (with some help) and while not a professional, I can do fiberglass, fabrication, installation, enclosure design/build all because I wasn't afraid to try. It's a fun hobby, but wouldn't want to do it to make a living.
I did design and build my box myself but yeah I do not know how to do fiberglass or welding haha thats so cool you know all that stufff, props! Maybe someday when I got a better job I'll spend the time to learn how to do more. Does sound fun!
Why did you down grade from fosgate to Skar? The RP line is not korean but Chinese..their SK line is Korean but its an old style board ... granted you will get power but that amp is power hungry and the components are shit... but great video, love the documentary style
The Rockford amp was just too expensive. Also it's just not designed well for my car specifically with the wires coming out the long side. I know rockford has a better reputation but I really am happy with what I chose. It's true the skar is old technology but i'm really loving it. Bass knob is cool too. What's a good newer technology korean amp that you would choose? Thank you so much for watching glad you liked it!
