Green Howard and Boro fan Lee Matthews became a cult figure at Ayresome Park during the 1989-90 season when he became "The Boro Bugler".
An idea of Bruce Riochs, whenever Boro got a corner Lee would stand next to the bench and bugle out the battle-charge in order to inspire the players and fans.
Unfortunately, the game featured on the report was a 2-1 defeat to Watford which proved to be Riochs last in charge of Middlesbrough as he was sacked the following day.
