Me, and it really just bolsters the video. Boston have played 10 games in 12 days since March 10th. For reference, Hawks had played 7. Losing a 10-games in 12 days win-streak by TWO points, away from home, playing load-managed scrimmage ball at the worst part of an absurdly congested point in their schedule, having already clinched the 1-seed, against a Hawks team with *everything* to play for -- if that doesn't show you how dominant they've been this regular season, nothing will.
@@matthewvaughan8192 "against a [10th seed] Hawks team with everything to play for -- if that doesn't show you how dominant they've been this regular season, nothing will" 1. why do the Hawks have "everything to play for"? the Nets are five victories behind them, and the 76ers are seven victories ahead. They WILL play the Bulls. :) 2. it doesn't prove that they're dominant. They've LOST. If anything, you could claim the game proves NOTHING. But that's it.
Love how people keep bringing up Trae young being out like it’s not much easier to score on the hawks consistently with a traffic cone out there on defense, these casual takes are great
@@Zett76 1. The difference between 10th and 9th is the difference between playing Heat and the 76ers. And considering they have to play Cs again, Nugs, Bucks, Heat & Wolves in their remaining 11, that could be 5 losses right there. Shall we settle on ''a whole lot to play for,'' especially in comparison to a team that quite literally has *nothing* to play for. Works for me. 2. Again, works for me. I'm quite happy to settle on ''proves nothing.'' Not like either invalidate my general point.
amazing what an organic superteam that maintains the same core can do as opposed to a forced one like the suns where you trade away the whole team to get two stars.
The Celtics are a juggernaut but the way they play cannot lead to a championship because they rely waaaay too much on the 3 ball..and you know saying: "they live and die by the 3" And the games against the nuggets were a clear indicator.
@@MrE_ definitely have their issues and i can see the nuggets, healthy knicks, wolves (with KAT back), healthy clippers, or maybe bucks beating them. still way better than the suns who just lost to the spurs without wemby with Booker, KD, and Beal all playing. edit: celtics just lost to hawks without trae or jalen lol
@@spacepioneer4070 yeah they got bored, starters are used to play only 2 or 3 quarters and rest in final quarter because they win easily, kudos for atlanta sinking 3s in 3rd qtr, wake up call for Boston to not get complacent... they are going to be champion though 💪💪💪☘️☘️☘️
see here's the thing, unless this team can actually win in the playoffs, they're not a superteam. you can never count on Tatum and Brown in the playoffs, because that's historically been where their biggest weaknesses are magnified
In the last 3 years: Tatum: 27-8-6 in the playoffs Brown: 23-6-4 in the playoffs They've been to 4 conference finals (JB has been to 5) and one finals in their careers. Playoffs are not their weakness, it's just that they were missing one piece all these years and couldn't get over that hump. KP was the missing piece, we'll see if it turns out good.
@@nCk. they've had enough to win for years, but now they found the missing piece? in their last playoff series(vs Miami), Tatum shot 23% from 3, Jaylen shot 42% from the field and 16% from 3... in the finals, Tatum was 37% from the field(shot well from 3), Jaylen 43%, and 34% from 3. if they crumble, its on these two.
''Superteam'' isn't defined by winning rings, but rather the roster's capability to do so. The Brooklyn Nets were a superteam. Just a failed one. When people say Superteam they're talking about talent, not success. You're confusing Superteams for Dynasties.
Let's not go overboard. Trading for Porzingis and resigning him was actually not considered a slam dunk when it happened. It was not until he actually played that people (general NBA media and fans) understood that the fit was perfect. And we have the Bucks to thank for giving us Jrue on a silver platter because the lure of Lillard was too hard for them to resist. That was just a (huge) bonus.
@@Jonteponte71 I guess it was hidden from you too lol. Not soul thought the porzingis trade was going be bad come on man only concern was his health that's it.
As a decades long Celtics fan: Yes, they are making history. Thanks to their choking ability (Hawks is the latest example), they will be the most talented and loaded team to never win a championship.
@@Dylan48474 Not only that. Boston have played 10 games in 12 days since March 10th. For reference, Hawks had played 7. @@matthewvaughan8192 the 73-9 warriors went months with out losing nd still ended up losing in the finals I don’t even think the Celtics can make the finals if I’m being honest they decent in regular season as usual they not going nowhere tho it trash in the playoffs nd in never show up wen needed averages do not matter if you not winning
@@ChadStanley-ck7tb Apologies for the essay, but your point sorta contradicts itself considering the 73-9 Warriors bottled a 3-1 Home Court lead to the Cavs, only to go onto win 3 chips and actually become a full-blown dynasty. ''One season wonders'' they were called. In fact, that season is pretty much the perfect example of how averages and point differentials are almost exclusively what matters. Game 7 was the *only* game in that series that was decided by less than 11 points. The rest were either blowouts or 11-20 point victories. Crunch time wasn't even a factor for 6 games, and the 1 game it was, GSW fell short, in spite of clearly having clutch DNA to the eye test. The averages just fell on the wrong side of the plate for GSW that year, just like they will eventually fall on the right side of the plate for the Cs if they can keep this team together. (Tatum is 45.1% in Clutch Squared Shots, for the record. People forget he played GSW with an injured sprained ankle and the Heat with pain in his shooting arm.) Intangibles and clutch shot-makers always help, but they sure af aren't defining factors of a championship team. A game is decided by 48 minutes, not the last shot. Likewise, a series is decided by 7 games -- and even if Boston do turn out bum in the clutch, snagging 4 victories in 7 is going to be hard for any team this year. For the record, I wouldn't put the Celtics down as favourites either. Probably Nuggets, but anything can happen. Injuries & freak occurrences permitting, it's a game of chance, odds & percentages, after all.
that's where I'm at. I want the Cs to win as much as anybody but the nuggets are still the nuggets. Even if we got a better season record right now the nuggets turned it on both games and swept us. I think we still got a chance but it'll be a wild series
Lmao I love coming here to find every salty nuggets or jokic fan commenting that they ain’t got sht on the nuggets or jokic like get over it this insane nba lineup definitely can beat the nuggets with jokic and a bunch of mid players

They Are Good but I hate Them. The entire Franchise becide from Horford and Holiday. And then there ist the I.T thing…. And Brown is Not their 2nd best Player….
