Boy, this is one terrific musical that should have been put on Blu-ray DVD. Many of us Peter Allen & Judy Garland fans never got to see this show and it would be wonderful if it could have been done. I know it never toured here in Chicago. I don't if Hugh Jackman will ever reprise this wonderful role, this is probably impossible. They probably wer'ent recording these shows back then so this will probably never happen. But then again Glen Close did go back to do "Sunset Boulevard" Didn't she !
God bless you for 👊 *fist bump*. I've been wanting to see this some way after seeing him in his last tour. Now I am forever grateful for the time and patience ether taking this video back then or at this moment posting 🙏
You're welcome! I love this man so much, he gives me so much joy, that I want to share his talents with everybody. I didn't record it (never seen him live, I'm from Buenos Aires, but I love him since I saw "Oklahoma!" on TV), but I could get this recording many years ago and I think is a valuable memento of a terrific performance (according to Michael Caine, one of the best performances he saw by any actor on stage)
This is fine quality for the era of time,w/no camera phones etc...I remember worse quality when I DID use a camera phone to record Elton John 2 years after this. My phone was the iPhone quality of it's time too. Do you did a great job. I was looking for this after watching the tony awards videos from misspoochsmooch
Thank You! I wish I had recorded the show, I didn't see him live (I'm from Buenos Aires), but I'm a big Hugh's fan, and I could got this recording, and thought of sharing it, for those who couldn't see him live, and those who did and wanted to remember
