Antony Starr does such an excellent job of portraying Homelander. Eventually it’s the small facial ticks or the soulless stares into nothingness. I find Homelander so genuinely terrifying haha

They took the oldest Superman trope, and showed what a POS Homelander is with it, and the fact that they used Supes signature save, makes me hate him that much more. Plus there's more to hate coming no spoilers.

I’ve always said, if you could only show somebody ONE episode of The Boys, this would be it. Every character gets their time to shine, we see the dynamics between everyone, & we get the overall “feel” of the show & general plot.

Opening the series with A-Train running through Robin, blowing up Translucent, Pop Clow squeezing that guy's head, the dolphin scene in this one. Man, those early episodes sure went hard with the gore stunts and shock value. I'm glad they toned it down in later seasons. ...

I know yall watched this a long time ago, so yall may know...but in the comics, the hijacked flight was the planes that was on 9/11 in the comics. So I understand the sentiment of being annoyed with middle eastern terrorists depicted in this episode, but I'm glad they didn't go the 9/11 route.

Cersei in Game of Thrones is the equivalent of Homelander in The Boys. Both evil characters played spectacularly that you love to hate.

I like your reactions, but queen Maeve isn't at fault , she wanted to save everyone ,if you inspect her facial expressions it is obvious she didn't approve what homelander did !
