His apology included the word "if" so it was not sincere at all. He's a creep but Ryan will go down a path that only him and Homelander can apply justice so it's quite terrifying.
I don't trust Hughie's mother. She doesn't know Starlight as Annie, knows what's in the news, works for Vaught and gives Hughie her engagement ring. I wouldn't be surprised if it was her mission to sneak back into his life via Hughie's father. I wouldn't be surprised if she is responsible for his heart attack and I wouldn't be surprised if this ring is a bug that is targeting Hughie or later Annie or somthing else. She also only got in touch with her ex-husband a few months ago, but just at the time when Hughie was already a problem for Vaught. There's something fishy about it. I think it has become very clear here that Joe, just like Becca, is just Butcher's imagination. Becca is the angel and Joe is the devil on his shoulder. Sage has a big plan and I think everything is calculated except for Homelander himself. That means she knows about A Train and what he does. That means she lets him do what he wants and either digs his own grave or/and she wants to get information out. I think their master plan is supposed to destroy Vaught in the end. She hates what she has become and it is not a gift to be so smart. I think lobotomizing is no fun either. She already holds or controls all important posts. She is CEO, head of security and marketing. Now, with the "departure" of the alleged spy, she also controls the news. Also, I think we'll see Meave again soon, because I think Sage would have shown the now dead news guy some kind of book, and I think that had something to do with Meave 27:47 . If you want to see another absolutely great series with an absolutely great Antony Starr, then I have to recommend "Banshee - Small Town, Big Secrets" to you. Unfortunately relatively unknown, but is still one of the best, if not the best action series ever. Criminal is released from jail and becomes sheriff in a town called Banshee. The series is very well told and also brutal. Little to no explosions ,a lot of hand to hand Combat, heavily choreographed and brutal. John Wick is tame against it. All characters are unique and excellently developed. Drama, action, humor and sick shit.
Yes I agree, it's suspicious, I can't wait for tomorrow's episode because it will be WILD Also yes ! Already recommended Banshee too ! It's incredible !
Has Annie sucked for 4 seasons? She saved Hughie from A Train, saved a girl from getting assaulted, helped jump Liberty. Maybe underutilized but I definitely wouldn’t say she sucks.
I dont think Annie is weak at all I think she is just oblivious to the extent of her powers bcuz she doesn't exercise them. She knows enough to keep it cute and control the basics but I think if she went thru like the Xavier school or training she'll be able to discover her limits. I also think she's to a degree afraid of her power; she's always worried about someone getting hurt or blinded and while her being this dainty sweet lady is what's holding her back- not the power itself. Let loose girl, find our what you can really do- push yourself!
I still don't trust Hughie's mom. I might be totally off but I think she's a mole or had something to do with dad's stroke. IDK she scream baddie to me.
