That is like the coldest take ever. The problem with that scene is that Captain Marvel needs no help so it comes off hollow. The scene with Wanda getting help from Nat against Proxima was closer to this and was better.

Ultimately, I believe her ideology is effectively Social Darwinism with White Supremacy mixed in; she doesn't care for dogmatic political theory, merely whatever benefits her interest group at any given moment. Be it the Third Reich, Vought, Homelander, etc. All of those things -- with the sole exception of her husband's connection to Vought -- are beneath her when their uses are exhausted because no matter her affinity for all of those things, methods don't interest her, results do. She's willing to be flexible to achieve those ends, which is what makes her uniquely dangerous as a motivated villain.

Her ideals never changed...she just gained super powers. Same ideals...just a different way to go about it. It's crazy cause she's had super powers since Hitler's regime but didn't use them to help the Nazis win.

She's the white supremacy ideology made into a character. It's why white supremacy in the US changed so much. Back in the late 1700s people like Ben Franklin considered even Germans to be not white. But then they were included because the idea of a "white race" had to adapt or it would have been died out. After the Germans were included, the Italians and Irish were also considered to be white and it kept going until now, where it's anyone who's European and North American is white. It's why white supremacists won't consider Turks or Argentinians white. Sure they have a lighter complexion but they aren't from the "white" regions of the world. It's also why the white race and white culture doesn't exist. If you're German you can point out what makes you German and what German culture is. But if you're white, the only thing you can point to is "I'm white because the white supremacists who decided on who's white and who's not included my country in the white category."

eyes lighting up is a common theme among supes. Homelanders and the kid’s eyes light up when they use their powers, and i believe the lighter guy also had his eyes glow when he used his powers.

In season 1 they shoot Starlight with a .50 cal and she gets stunned for a while.

On the same point with star wars there are great female characters in the clone wars like ashoka, satine, padme they are all awesome and written brilliantly and one thing that helps is that they have flaws that they work with or try to overcome like satines naivety for peace ultimately leads to her downfall but she stands by it to the end And onto superheros Iron man at the start was arrogant selfish and self absorbed and after seeing what his legacy and creations had done to the world he fought to change it I think a thing with marvel is they try to much to make the female characters appear strong by not giving them flaws which means they aren't relatable Like rey and captain marvel ever rarely or if ever make mistake others do and they fix the problems But it's shown well with starlight she lost her innocence and seeing her reaction to it made her sympathetic and more likeable And the girl power team up scene felt earns in the boys with them kicking the shit out of storefront instead of a 10 secomd shot which felt forced

@@Alexa-pc6ux They didn't really nerf her at the end. She was beaten down by 3 supes, one of which was Maeve, who is second in strength and durability, behind only Homelander. And then she was demolished by Ryan, who used his heat vision at full intensity while pissed off. Before that, we had seen her take Homelander's heat vision, but he was likely holding back and was not angry in any way, whereas Ryan was furious and had no control.

On top of that, Ryan is more powerful than his father because he can control the compound V more better than Homelander. Not to mention, Stormfront is second strongest to Homelander, Maeve can be the third. The thing is, when she was fighting Kimiko, she was so slow to move around and laser the boys. The boys should have been killed the moment she zapped them. Hell, not to mention, she could have thrown them and Starlight far away like she did with the car and be done with this bullshit. Say Kimiko part was balanced, but Starlight should have been killed by her. All Stormfront did was zap her around from left to right when she can literally just hug her, fly, and watch Starlight fall to her death. Say Queen Maeve got her off by surprise, but Stormfront could have been able to fight back. Even if we followed the fact that the three girls cornered her, Stormfront could have been able to fly away for a bit and shoot them with her powers one by one from a far-range distance. Even when she tried to take Ryan and was stabbed, her character was literally off. She was like a child begging for a toy. Stormfront would have pushed Becca away and took Ryan by force, despite that Ryan would probably disagree to join her. It was literally so bad.
