The Black Noir bits were to show his ninja persona is mainly media hype. In contrast everything we've seen of him shows he is a blunt object rather than a ninja. It was especially driven home when he trips off every trap and has laughably bad stealth.

@@thirdbnico kinda, 1 lady saw him before he killed her, he did quietly dispatch 2 guys out side and 1 inside but his target spotted him and was able to detonate which at the very least scarred black noir. With the speed he demonstrated up to that point he should have been able to take the terrorist out before he activated his powers. That, the way he killed one of the guards, and the fact that he basically killed everyone except for the kid made that operation come off as less ninja and more terminator.

I love how Giancarlo Esposito basically plays Lex Luthor in this show, and he plays Luthor in the Harley Quinn cartoon. He really fucking nails that cool, charismatic mastermind. He's one of those actors that, if he's in anything, I HAVE to see it.

Nah, dude. Homelander is pretty racist. See his previous comments about Africans with phones or "camel jockeys." The reason he was looking at Stormfront weird during that scene is because he is a nationalistic American, and probably feels uncomfortable every time she goes into his nazi spiel. His racism is more the American-baked, jingoistic style; whereas Stormfront is a true racial ideologue. He doesn't care about "white genocide" or any of that nonsense and didn't want her filling Ryan's head with that crap. But of course he didn't say anything because the pussy was good.

Translucent still has sensitive internal organs despite having invulnerable skin, so the eyes on Stormfront etc are probably sensitive. I disagree, season 1 was way better I felt like it had a lot more structure and was better pacing wise. Plus it slowed down you had time to Symphasize With the boys ( butchers crew). This season went too fast, the storylines didn’t feel as natural. It has too many storylines for such a short season. Definitely should’ve been at least 12 episodes for the storylines it has.

I appreciated the character advancement in Season 2 more, but I still think Season 1 was exceptional in respects to the overall plot. I feel like the plot just strolled for most of Season 2 till those last three episodes. I can't wait for Jensen Ackles Soldier Boy's character and hopefully we get that Jeffrey Dean Morgan appearance to barring quarantine and scheduling with the Walking Dead conflicts permits it to happen.

Those are two different scenes. With Avengers it was take object A over to area B while everyone else provides cover. In the Boys it's three characters gang up on the big bad that was an actual Nazi. The only thing they have in common was it was female characters.

I can understand that many people say Homelander is the scariest super, but the one that had me on edge was not Alexandria Ocasio Cortez's power. I found myself tense thinking someone that is talking might have their head explode at any given moment. Not knowing who it was throughout the near entirety of the show added to the anxiety.

You have great actors, what looks like a good budget, superpowers, sex, and violence but the s*** was boring. @@jewsco I think the plot was written tighter in the first season, but the character writing is so much better especially with the boys. In the first season, the boys didn't get much development cause they were running around doing shit for the plot while this season took a slower pace and gave them more room to act.

They’re not really bulletproof. Bullets bounce off some but not all sups. Bullets bounce off Homelander and Maeve, but not Starlight or Cindy and others. Bullets do go into Stormfront so she can get stabbed in the eye.

Stormfront probably won't die. The show has made some changes to the comics, but they seem to come to the same conclusions story-wise. Stormfront got blinded and fucked up beyond repair. I think Lovesausage helped kill him (Stormfront), but that ass whooping is probably as far as they will go.

This season did the three E's very well. Expanded, Explained and Entertained. All three are crucial to any TV show or movie sequels success. This was done in 8 hours of TV and it worked well. I think Antony Starr needs some recognition that he acted Homelander so well, it would be negligent of the awards system for him not to get something.

I said it before and I'll say it again, The Boys is the best superhero TV series ever! In this TV series, the Boys haven't taken Compound V. (they do in the comics) Why did the knife in the eye hurt Stormfront? (Just a theory) Stormfront's invulnerability seems to wear off the more damage she takes. After the awesome ass whooping Mave, Starlight, and Kimiko gave her, she was so sufficiently weakened, that a knife in a tender spot, would hurt. If that's true, then why did Butcher's gun not hurt her? Butcher shot her in the back, with a low caliber pistol, through her cape, which itself could be bulletproof, so that protected Stormfront. This theory also explains why Ryan's heat vision did more damage than Homelander's.

I think Black Noir is supposed to be a clone of Homelander. Someone posited the theory that perhaps, since they changed many things from comic to series, and we already know Black Noir is Black (when Queen Maeve raised his mask to shove the candy bar down his throat), perhaps Stan Edgar has cloned HIMSELF in the series interpretation to do battle with Homelander? The eye thing is just like Luke cage. That was the only way to acces his body was trought his eyes. Some of them have almost impenetrable skin and is consistent with the show since in season one that was the only way to kill translucent was by putting the bomb up his ass since they couldn't harm him and he explained it was his skin.

Butcher is actually my favorite character. Yeah he goes a bit far quite often but never goes past the point of being too far from redeemable. He has good intentions, sometimes at the expense of others for sure but it’s not like he gets a kick at it once he realizes maybe there’s a better alternative and it is crucial we recognize that. He’s Wolverine pretty much
