His mind is still damaged from the abuse he received in his youth. He didn't bother to revolt against vought because he was conditioned to be dependent on & needing Vought. Many who have been abused usually don't become abusers, but there are indeed sad cases like this. It also doesn't help that Black Noir's manipulation made Shitlander into a psychopathic monster with a God complex. Yeah, it doesn't excuse AT ALL what Shitlander did, but it does give a little insight on how the hell he turned out like that. I'm sorry for Homelander as a child, no one deserves what he been through. Since he was raised in just a lab, he probably didn't learn enough to break free of this cycle like Adora, Zuko, Soren, Finn, etc. Mind you, I'm not saying "Oh, poor little guy, he is just a sad soul who needs love", no, I'm just saying that now we understand his behavior a little more and that no one deserved the maltreatment he received, he was still an innocent child back then. To the Adult Homelander, all I say is "Burn in the deeper depths of hell along with your parents, whom not even them could stand to have you around. No matter what you do, you’ll never be good enough for them. Never".

@@user-kd4gb4vj2k I suppose if you find unruly children or wild animals are frightening, he might be your type of villain. But I find him about as threatening as Anakin Skywalker, iow not very. I did have a friend that was worried that the first Prophecy movie would give her nightmares, so everyone has a level. The comic route would have been better than an early reveal where it is common knowledge. The Deep had no forward movement and Stormfront didn't make an effective villain.

Yeah it also showed how an awesome cartoon it would have been if they went that route instead of Live Action

@@moderatecanuck i love the different takes they used in the Boys, but if they made an animated series or a series of animated movies that are comic faithful after the Boys series is finished, I'd be all for it. It would be almost like a parody of the DC animated films(kinda like how the comics are a parody of superheroes in general)

I think "I'm your pusher" worked really well because it's just a short story. Not too long, simple plot, gore and killed supe-assholes. But if that was a long adaptation of the comics? That would become boring really quickly.

I remember that! Storm and Forge had a great relationship and then it ended just so they could put her with Black Panther, a man who Storm rarely spent any noticeable amount of time with. Then they went on to say that Storm had some connection with Wakanda! Dude, that was horrible, it took away the fact that Storm was a Kenyan woman. She was from an actual country that rarely, especially at the time of her creation, ever got talked.
