The Boys Season 3 | Herogasm Review (SPOILERS) 

Black noir just booking it and leaving was sp funny to me and just how noone could really believe it

I’m surprised Starlight didn’t mention Homelander murdering Supersonic on her revealing livestream. No one in the public seems to care that he’s even missing out of the 7 😂

Loved this episode! In the end the real “Herogasm” was the fight between Homelander, Butcher, Soldier Boy, and Hughie. This was the climax we were all begging for 🙏🏾

One of the best episodes so far, that battle between homelander, soldier boy, hughie and butcher was fantastic, and I’m honestly not sure what’s about to happen next. Fantastic.

Idk about the comics, but I felt like Kimiko was slowly regaining her powers, considering how quickly she healed after being taken from the hospital. She wasn't at full power of course, but damn, she was near death an episode ago.

Honestly every episode of the boys is just gold and the last 15 minutes were balls to the wall awesome. Actually seeing Homelander in a proper fight was worth the wait. And Billy's bloody smile made me do the same. Each episode keeps raising the bar. Ofcourse the depravity has no problem getting lower lol. Side note: So glad the herogasm part went a different way with Homelander and Soldier Boy. People who read the comic know what I mean.

Soldier Boys character is so realistic of what a guy from the past would see if he just jumped into 2022. Mix of Captain America and John Rambo on his worst day

For a guy who's whole image is based on being a God and untouchable I can't wait to see what impact having a bruise, probably his first ever, has on homelander

I think Black Noir is going to visit Stan Edgar. They made a point to say he Noir wouldn't do anything without Vaught approval. I think he took out his chip so that Homelander wouldn't find out that he is in contact with Stan Edgar. Also it's good to have Teddy back on for a review

It was very telling how butcher didn't even have a second thought about all the people being killed at herogasm. His only concern is that SB got his payback on the TNT twins so he can hold up his end of the deal. All he asks him is "sorted?"

Soldier boy crushing up benzos and pairing them with whiskey for breakfast had me dying 🤣

This show is one of the greatest shows of all time

I do kinda like how when Huighes powers leave him ass naked in a similarly to translucent the first supe he killed

There was not a wasted scene this episode. It felt like half a season's worth of plot in one episode that somehow didn't feel too rushed

Soldier Boy still feels like a sympathetic villain. Hughey went in there scout, find the twins and report so no one else got hurt. SB didn't need to use the blast to take them out. Do you think without the unexpected musical trigger he would have used it? Again, he blacked out and asks what happened. Am I being too sympathetic because I'm a huge Winter Soldier fan as well.🤔

Did anyone else cheer when they saw Love Sausage make it out of the house? 😂 I legit was like ayyyooo my guy is safe!!!😮‍💨

i dont think that black noir has fear.. i think he just goes "invisible" and make preparation , like batman would do for a fight against soldier-boy and my opinnion is that black noir is still loyal to edgar and he will make a comeback

For the cast herogasm was the orgy, for the audience, herogasm was that amazing fight between the 3 Boys and Homelander

Seriously, Homelander has been such a phenomenal character and the acting is beyond anything. It's an absolute joy to watch!

Hell of an episode... Been a fan of Antony Starr since Banshee, so was real nice to see him do some choreographed fights again.

Teddy’s statement doesn’t get enough love here. We’ve heard time after time people say “oh Homelander blah blah we can’t really hurt him.” Soldier Boy is the outlier like his power reverses compound v. And it took 3 of them to even make him fucking angry. People are using this episode as “oh he can be be beat up” dude, I think this isn’t even close to that. I think this is the first time in his life that he was scared. Beau was right, he’s just a wild animal. The most dangerous animal on earth is one that’s in danger

Soldier Boy is a flawed character like everyone else on the show but a total badass and my favorite character on The Boys. He isn’t a monster, and doesn’t intentionally (so far) hurt innocents. Perfect casting.

35:09 is a good example to me how well this show just flows. In the episode's first scene of Kimiko we see the pun setup on the popsicle stick "why did the picture go to jail?" and they drop this dumb little answer at the perfect time. Great review and what an episode. Almost nothing can return to the status quo now I feel.

A-Train gets it. At least a little bit. After what he’s told at Vought by Ashley he kind of has a moment where he understands. But he still can’t not do what he wants. Hence why he kills Blue Hawk.

It's easy to forget that Kimiko used to be a soldier. We've been seeing her through Frenchies eyes for the past couple seasons, but she is capable in some ways even without the powers

'Love Sausage' leaving a little 'well done' was the best.

What an absolute banger of an episode. I want to see some solid theories of where the show will go that deviate from the comics

I love what Jack said about the powers compound v gives the person .. it's part of your personality. Like with Hughie, he's big on avoidance and escaping (and humiliating himself). Of course, naked teleportation would be his thing.

This was so dope man, I love how it makes fun of everyone. It feels so healthy. Man this was such a good episode. I dont know how many episodes are left, but I hope theres atleast 4 more… my favourite series right now, top 5 ever, maybe!

I think the same way Crimson Countess’s chimp sanctuary is a take on Carol Baskin, The Deep’s sexual desires towards octopuses relates the Netflix documentary ’My Octopus Teacher’, in which a filmmakers obsession with an octopus, the exact same species The Deep is obsessed with. Because I’m season one The Deep sexual preference was all about dolphins.

My theory is that Homelander will be the one who releases the Flight 37 video.

i found it pretty tame and thought all the warnings were a bit ridiculous. but it was very fun

I'm way behind the ball here, I didn't get to watch the episode til yesterday, and while I certainly liked it overall a lot, I was kind of left wondering what all the fuss was about for the actual "herogasm" event. like yeah it was plenty raunchy, but from everything that's been said over the last few months, I was expecting things even way more graphic than that. I mean I wouldn't have cared either way, it's not like I need an Eyes Wide Shutx1000 in the middle of my superhero show, but just the way they'd talked about it, it seemed like it was relatively tame. also, I very much got the impression that Kimiko indeed has her powers back, or at least the start of them. That whatever happened to her was just temporary.

Great episode, great review guys. Antony Starr is a great actor and has been killing it with homelander. For anyone that hasn't seen it, he also killed it in Banshee. Very underrated/unwatched show that he did before The Boys.

I'm gonna agree this was one of the best episodes also I think this is the best season so far. I absolutely love this show... Anthony Starr plays Homelander is the best . I think he is a great actor I said this from the 1st season. I have begun rewatching supernatural... Jensen is also great. I'm not use to seeing him like this . I love it ... He plays the charter well. Its amazing how the Boys gets better and better great writing. This is on my top 10 favorite shows . Nior just said nope I'm out lol loved it.

I don't understand why so many people think Kimiko's powers are gone now. The effect is obviously temporary given how she survived so much damage to save Frenchie and his ex when she was still recovering from being stabbed in the gut. Soldier Boy's power is still incredibly effective though. He can nerf another supe for days.

Casting such an attractive actor to play Soldier Boy is a bit discombobulating. He’s obviously an arsehole but you can’t help but fall for him. I don’t wanna like him but that face makes it quite difficult.

I've been saying it since season 1, Each episode is better then the last, Each moment tops the last and adds more stakes to what's goin on, I love how they hyped this up as a huge orgy episode only to hit with a deep character driven episode with a epic badass fight that showed Homelanders can hold his own

I haven't read rhe comics yet but it seems like Solider Boy has a winter soldier thing going on. Both times he went off and killed more than he meant too a Russian song is playing and seems to trigger something. He doesn't even know what happened

The mirror scene was great. Really 3 characters, Homelander is the perfect blending of the 2.

My guess is: Homelander will go nuts, soldier boy will be spotted and Vought will try to spin it as Soldier boy is back to protect the world while trying to broker a deal with the boys

I think SB is kind of like LampLighter was to a lesser extent last season. We knew LL was a bad guy and killed innocents but you kind of still liked his character. Of course they are fleshing out the SB character way more than they did LL but feels like that kind of sympathetic bad guy thing

My own theory is that Butcher and Huey are going to become the villains after they kill Homelander. Starlight made it a point to say she's tired of this "whatever it takes to win" mentality, which is not only the mentality of Vought.
