Homelander's little jog to try and get the head seat and subsequent reaction had me howling.

I love that the trailer only really showed clips from the start of the series, there's still so much more. Plus the chimp song in episode 2 made me laugh out loud, nothing in a TV show has done that for a while

It was cool how Tony kept trying to cover her eyes and control her head to keep her from looking at him. It was a cool way to highlight how her powers are projected via line of sight.

I don’t know why but the Adam Driver “good soup” clip has been cracking me up every time. I like week to week sometimes, but god damn after watching those first three episodes I was ready to crush to rest of the series immediately. The week long wait for this one is gonna hurt.

MM's ex wife's new man was nodding in agreement during Homelander's speech in episode 2, which I found very disturbing. I hope that will come back in some way, like MM wins his family back. But considering his ex-wife wants to protect their daughter, I doubt that will happen if MM continues working with Butcher. And the stuff with A-Train I found super interesting as well. They touched on it a bit before with A-Train being profiled in the clothing store despite having a BROKEN LEG. But now with A-Train having these ambitions of "finding his roots like ROOTS", he's obviously beginning to see that the Vought way of pandering to people doesn't work all the time.

I see alot of people talking about the termite scene and rightly so like holy fuck lol but the one that really shook me was when the head popper popped off that guys jaw and he's just lying there you can see the blood gather at the back of what's left of his throat and he's still alive like jesus fucking christ that was grim what could that even feel like 😬

Did you not notice the teleporting kid in that episode's name? He was Stillwells kid. The baby that survived Butchers explosion. He teleported miles away and ended up in that orphanage

That roof scene really made my skin crawl because he was basically forcing this poor girl to take her OWN life after she changed her mind and wanted to get down off the ledge and the worst part is that you know Vaught would have spun the story of "this girl was deeply disturbed and even homelander couldn't talk her down" AAHHH its so disgusting

Someone may have already mentioned this, but the on screen timer resets to 0 at the hour mark instead of showing 1:00. Great pod as always!

I think Butcher did what he did to the kid because the kid was starting to see his secret (you blood smells funny and your heart rate is way up) so he need to cut the kid off to keep his secret.

Bold prediction: Homelander doesn’t make it to next year. Butcher becomes the big problem in the next season, and it’ll be the last. One caveat: I also predicted we’d get a Christmas episode to tide us over until summer. I’m not good at this.

I think the reveal is that Homelander was cloned from Soldier Boy. We’re gonna learn that the Americans got a hold of a Russia super weapon which will be Homelander’s DNA from Soldier Boy. Homelander is probably like the “ultimate perfected DNA of Soldier Boy” or some shit like that.

To me it felt like soldier boy was a soldier but upon receiving his powers he felt invincible. His ego grew and coupled with how people were back then it just went wild

We didn't get Cindy from Sage Grove in S3, hoping she makes a return in S4.

I'm not sure what it takes to get an x-rating, but I'm surprised that episode didn't get one for that whole Termite scene.

I never never want a live action Arcane series. Abso-fucking-lutely never. But if it ever happened, Anthony Star would be perfect for Silco.

Seasons 1 and 2 were equal quality? Wow, did you actually watch season 2, because it was awful. So far these 3 are a marked improvement, back to S1 quality

Hopefully they see the gold mine and maybe create projects outside of just home lander where there is a sort of school for supes. I mean they can’t ALL be terrible; like I get it but humanity isn’t this bleak. Don’t change the series, but hopefully they continue to evolve

I just wanna see Homelander pop off and start taking out bought and all the evil shit the company does. Tells the public about his life from being a child test subject, to all the awful things, the cover ups, etc. then becoming a real hero for the people. Wouldn’t redeem him but they don’t need to. Have him enjoy becoming a real hero. I really don’t care how awful a person Homelander is… I wanna see the bad guy win. How fucking sick would that be

the only reason to continue watching this season is to see homelander destroy and have a blast doing it, this season is a chore to watch, I really want to know why starlight looks so old or gaunt or botoxed..anorexic maybe, I hope the actress gets that sorted out
