Antony Starr was BORN to play homelander, i have never seen an actor this perfect for a role in my entire life. I’m curious to see him is other stuff too

Maeve is bisexual. Her girlfriend mentioned it last season while meeting with Vought, and the "suits" told them both that "lesbian was more marketable." As a bisexual woman myself, that kind of shit is very relatable.

I've only seen the first 3 episodes, but I like how they've characterized Edgar, who's basically the mastermind behind superheroes and the threat they are to the public. Even he's sick of their antics and is trying to move Vought beyond making more super-powered man-childs.

Homelander is simultaneously the most intriguing and terrifying character on this show. Every scene he's in is unnerving and unpredictable. Great casting

Anthony Starr deserves an Award for this season,and I'm only 3 episodes in so far. He's like Joffery with Superman's abilities,the difference is Homelander is somewhat Competent and cunning compared to the ineptitude of the more childish Joffery.

Was driving me nuts for half the first season who Homelander reminded of. And it hit me: Michael Fassbender! But yeah, I've found him terrifying since the beginning of the show. He isn't just bad, he's sadistic. He enjoys the cruelty. So if he's even more terrifying this season.... damn....

The best part of this show is that nearly every character is hard to like or support morally. We see the extremes of lawful good and choatic evil; everything else falls every where except neutral. IT'S INCREDIBLE!!!

They arent looking for Soldier Boy to fight Homelander, they are looking for the weapon the Russians used to take down Soldier Boy to use on Homelander

I haven’t seen any episodes of the Boys, but the fear you describe people have of Homelander, sounds similar to the fear people had of that little boy with super powers on the Twilight Zone episode It’s A Good Life. The grown ups were constantly complimenting him, and telling him how the things he does are great. Even when they weren’t around him, they were afraid to talk bad about him, because they were afraid he would hear them or read their minds, and wish them away or something. Terrifying!

I love it how they finally show Homelander out of his suit and he "wears" exactly what you would think he would "wear" LOL

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Anthony Starr would be perfect as Reverse Flash in the DCEU.

I think The Boys might last about 5-6 seasons. Anything longer then that will just be too much.

And that quote by homlander “ I’m the fucking homelander. I can do whatever I want” was terrifying

Being Irish American himself, he was also a victim of prejudice growing up; which helped him learn to empathize with people of color in that time period. It also didn’t hurt that his creators were both Jewish and they created him to try to raise awareness of Hitler’s actions during the war (they even received death threats and hate mail when the first issue was released back in 1941).

I’m 2.5 episodes in and I’m honestly pleased. I’ve been hearing some negative reviews but I don’t see a drop-off. Homelander is friggin crazy. Butcher is just as crazy.

So far (ep 4) the nudity doesn't feel exploitative. GOT and other shows make nudity almost fully female and grossly sexual. I'm noticing more male nudity in this show and it isn't ssxual. I'm not uncomfortable watching like with other shows which showcase female nudity and even stop the plot to show off a naked woman. There is just as much male nudity or more and honestly I haven't been triggered at all.

1st 3 episodes were crazy as hell. Homelander makes me feel uncomfortable especially season 2

My favorite thing about double toasted is coming back to the no spoiler videos after watching and seeing all the small little hints and jokes that martin and korey make and they go right over my head on first watch

Soldier Boy is the best "Superhero" I've seen on screen in a long time.

Hearing them complain about the show being too heartbreaking and characters being too cruel actually got me even more hyped lmaooooo. To each their own of course 👍🏽

I thought that guy did a great job as young Edgar. What they should do is a breaking bad spinoff about Fring’s backstory and have that guy play him.

Jensen Ackles and many.of the cast on the show come from the show Supernatural, and one of the creates Eric Kripke, created both shoes.

I don't think I'll ever get tired of people with powers. Guns, politics, influence, all different forms of powers and powers are no exception.

As violent and cynical as the show gets, I'm totally cool with the shock factor just to be shocking. Some people don't like the pointless violence but I think it's all in service of being a parody of Marvel and superhero movies in general.

There are probably going to be people that come out and say that The Boys has gone "woke." I would just tell them to relax. It's just a show, and it was pretty clear, especially in season 2, that the creators of the show seem to lean more to the left. Nothing wrong with that.

I have a theory....on what might happen in the possible season 4. Homelander kills Stan Edger, forms a superhero coup, forms a plan to take over the whitehouse, and succeeds like in the comic. The people start losing faith in Homelander and is one of the reasons of his coup, The Boys decide to take down Homelander once and for all with the help of Mallory, Maeve, and Starlight, and A-Train and the Deep decide "Screw this we're leaving." and so leave. Homelander dies but things do actually try to get better and it's not the terrible ending that is the comic the Boys. My two cents.

I didn’t see Butchers decision to take compound V as hypocritical to his character, because they’ve made it clear at this point that he’s driven by the need for revenge. The whole “these powers are too much for anyone to have” was the farce

After watching the 1st three episodes of season 3 in conjunction with the 1st 2 seasons Feige better get Antony in the MCU fold as DOOM, Molecule Man, or Michael Korvac otherwise DC better snag him as their Reverse Flash, HUSH, CATMAN, or Captain Atom

1.) Homelander's demise will be satisfying because that's what he gets for causing everyone to turn against him and hurting and killing them. Apparently, he had it coming. He blames others for his actions. 2.) Aaaaand finally, Billy pushed away Ryan, breaking the bond, he is trully becoming just like his dad snd Shitlander now. No Billy don't you DARE blame Ryan for your mistakes and bad actions, he's a child, much, MUCH younger and smaller than you are, you are practically an adult and you belittled him enough to make him hurt, good thing weapons nor any form of physical violence weren't in the middle, otherwise it would have been much worse. However, I am just glad that, at least, Billy DOES seem to feel guilty, even if it's just a little bit. But at this point, I feel zero sympathy for Billy: I did understand his hard position and how he felt, but the moment he turned this harsh and cruel towards a child...no, just no. Billy is not much different from his dad nor Homelander at this point. 3.) I do not trust Supersonic, he's sus.

In the comics the boys took compound V and had powers from the jump. Butchers plan eventually led him to kill all the supes and anyone with powers including the boys

Loved the first 3 episodes. Had a bit of pacing problem since it’s a lot but was still great. Each episode had me at the edge of seat. Antony starr killing it again as homelander. And I was actually liking Victoria Neumans character. She seemed nice. My only con is Frenchie doesn’t seem like the Frenchie we know. He seems different and I don’t like it. But other than that, great first episodes. And for those who complain about action, this was never an action series. It was always a drama series and it’s been great.

Man I just finish watching episode 6 of the boys and wow y’all are sooo wrong about this season. This might be the best season yet the emotions and stakes are at a all-time high. You love and hate the characters in the best way possible. This is the best tv show out right now and it’s not even close 💯

Boys season 3 has been incredible ... so refreshing to have a series that is 'great' - when we are served up garbage with every other superhero show (other than Suicide Squads Peacemaker which was awesum!) ...

In my opinion this season is way better than season 2. So far Homelander has been amazing, especially the fact that despite him being a true villain with almost no redeemable qualities...he still manages to be likeable. Like...he's the extreme version of a person who just completely let their bad side take over on a bad day. The writers and the actor did a phenomenal job with that balance. Also, this is the type of topical humor I love to see. Not to heavy handed and "politically correct" but just enough that you can catch on to it quick if your paying attention. Can't wait for the coming episodes

So obviously I only saw the first three episodes and honestly I get what you kind of say about the whole making the effects and seem over almost over and done with at this point at the casual violence. I like to kind of equate it to what my experience was to the original No More Heroes on Wii: a very hyper stylistic and violent game that if you were to just simply judge by gameplay and actions that you see would get very dull and repetitive after a while... However!!! What drives you to it is the depth of story be fascination of the characters the interpersonal stuff and although there are some strings on that that were never resolved it's one of those things that it's still sticks with me after all these years. I'm looking forward to the rest of the season
