This was a cute episode, but there's a major flaw in the plot: Mike and Carol both expressed to Alice their fears that the other wrote the letter; Alice should therefore know that NEITHER of them wrote the letter, yet she still wrote her own letter to Dear Libby?
Alice also believed she was being haunted by ghosts when Bobby and Cindy put bedsheets over their head, so it's not that weird that she would jump to the conclusion that Carol or Mike might have been faking their reaction to it.
The best episode of the first season after the pilot and very frantic suited Jan's personality infact all the names suited their personalities and just to mention Jan was so much more attractive than Marcia love Anthony Fed ex lol amen
Ha! Ha!. I had no idea back in the day that Westerns were very popular on TV especially in the 1950's. Jim Davis guest starred on Westerns before playing Jock Ewing on Dallas and Eric Braeden played a Bounty Hunter Type before playing Victor Newman On The Young & The Restless.
If I were in Alice's shoes I would suggest to Mrs. Brady to ask Mr. Brady about it. And if Mr. Brady asked me the same thing I would've said, "Mrs. Brady had asked me the same thing earlier." Then I would've suggested he would ask her himself.
HISTORICAL BRADY TRIVIA: This episode was filmed during the week of the Sharon Tate murders in August of 1969. It would not air on TV until October of 1969.
She didn't have their phone number, just the return address on the envelopes. It would have made more sense just to send back a letter telling the family it wasn't them-- but that wouldn't make for good television.
I agree with @karlaug4450. This is the CBS channel, not a random youtuber who's posting old VHS recordings. CBS owns the syndication rights of _The Brady Bunch,_ and can presumably be monetized, if they're not already, for their longer videos.
Season 1 is better then the later seasons. Carol and Mike had nice hair and not the ridiculous 70's hair that they made fun of in the movies. The show lost something in the 3rd season. I prefer it when they are all little.
I would say Season 1 is the best out of all the seasons because it involves the Bradys adjusting to being one big family. The rest of the series has the family so adjusted that you forget that they are a blended family.
Absolutely. If you started watching the series in Season #2, you'd think it was merely about a family with six kids. The "blended" aspect was seldom mentioned.@@melissacooper8724

Susan Oleson admitted that playing Cindy Brady was sometimes very annoying. She felt that she asked such stupid questions such as Why Do You Alwayth Give Me Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwiches" and Mommy says "Because They're You're Favorite!" Oh Yeah I Keep Fergetting. When she did the episode where she was a tattletale, the kids at her school gave her a hard time. She admitted that when she went on auditions it was hard because people only looked at her as Cindy Brady.
