Have you ever wondered how the algorithm behind the ground-breaking technology in the MiniMed™ 780G system works? In this video, Lou, the chief engineer for Medtronic Diabetes closed loop system technologies, explains the interesting details behind the SmartGuard™ algorithm of the system. The MiniMed™ 780G system is Medtronic’s latest insulin pump system with SmartGuard™ feature, which automatically adjust insulin delivery and corrects highs 24/7, every 5 minutes as needed.
