I LOVE YOU 2! In a wonderful 40 year marriage but years ago when we were going through hard times felt God said if you think it is hard in your marriage you have no idea how hard it will be if you leave. I'm so thankful I stuck through the hard times.

I agreed! he is so used to speaking that sometimes its hard to filter through what comes out of habit and what is real vulnerability, not rehearsed. I love them both so much i continue to pray over them
Jumping in here with the most respect as well. He has talked in the past about having ADHD. One of the traits people with ADHD have is to interrupt people while talking. I have ADHD and I try as hard as possible to not interrupt people, but my husband knows that when I do it doesn’t come from an unkind or lack of self awareness place. Im not saying that’s the reason why he does it, but it could be. I know that is something I particularly battle a lot with my ADHD.
@@rosamariabelisario6601omg I was just coming to say the same thing!!! It's usually me cutting my husband off because he's going on and on and on. They've been together for awhile so it's probably a combo of him speaking professionally all these years + having ADHD....and Laura's so used to it, so she doesn't really notice. I think that's the most important thing here. If she was fighting to be heard and it was painfully obvious, then I'd says yall are 1000000% right. I've seen some men intentionally try to dominate their wives like that in front of other people and it's super scary. This doesn't look like that...to me!

Doesn't` matter what anyone else thinks Carl & Laura.Jesus says cool, walk with him. That`s it. We all walking the journey. Churchianity followers might try shoot you down but true Jesus followers will be cheering you on.

Oh me, oh my. He is not begging for anyone to believe anything he says and I am beyond thankful to see a pastor who has fallen to GET BACK UP to shine a light on things kept in the darkness for mass amounts of people going through the same things. Because he’s got a pod cast he’s trying to change peoples minds?! More like humility for his mistakes and ability to be real and raw in the face of adversity.
@@AnnaliseCisar I guess it’s a trust issue and yes, thats on me. I’ve watched a lot of his content since he started posting again and Im getting that Oprah interview vibe again. Its not my place to judge and demand anything from him but if he’s gonna come out, then he’s gotta stop sounding like how he used to from the pulpit.

You know what interrupted this? The fact his talking and his wife is scrolling and staring at her phone. It’s likely pod related but it’s so distracting as his talking and all I can see is the phone in her hand and eyes down.
I am not going to pretend I know anything about both of you. Yes, the internet is crazy with people talking shit. My observation has been, that you do all the talking. I wish that your wife had more of a voice.
Yikes. Volunteers didn’t work for him… he was never the boss and so many people in control of him down to the very things he could or couldn’t preach about. Just because someone is paid in a substantial amount does not mean they can’t be used and that can be applied to other careers aside from a pastor. Preaching 5 plus sermons in a day is utterly insane and is absolutely a form of taking advantage of someone including numerous other ways. This seems incredibly judgmental.
You need to heal before you try to heal others. You do t need to change anyone’s mind. You need to change yours. That’s the only one you can change is your own mindset. Trying to change other’s peoples mind is manipulation.
